摘要: The present invention relates to gel compositions comprising a polyurethane elastomer. The polyurethane elastomer is formed from the reaction of a polyol, a polyisocyanate, and a polyurethane reaction catalyst in the presence of a topically acceptable carrier fluid. In some embodiments, the gel composition comprises a personal active ingredient or a healthcare active ingredient, which may be incorporated into the gel composition via a pre-load method or a post-load method. Also provided herein are gel pastes and topical formulations containing the polyurethane elastomers, and methods of making the same.

摘要: Porous three-dimensional networks of polyimide and porous three-dimensional networks of carbon and methods of their manufacture are described. For example, polyimide aerogels are prepared by mixing a dianhydride and a diisocyanate in a solvent comprising a pyrrolidone and acetonitrile at room temperature to form a sol-gel material and supercritically drying the sol-gel material to form the polyimide aerogel. Porous three-dimensional polyimide networks, such as polyimide aerogels, may also exhibit a fibrous morphology. Having a porous three-dimensional polyimide network undergo an additional step of pyrolysis may result in the three dimensional network being converted to a purely carbon skeleton, yielding a porous three-dimensional carbon network. The carbon network, having been derived from a fibrous polyimide network, may also exhibit a fibrous morphology.

摘要: Disclosed is a solventless adhesive composition comprising (A) an isocyanate component obtained by the reaction of reactants comprising at least one monomeric cycloaliphatic isocyanate compound comprising at least one cyclohexyl (ene) group and at least one first polyol: and (B) a polyol component comprising particularly selected functionalized and non-functionalized polyol. The solventless adhesive composition can be used for the production of laminate materials. e.g. laminate packing material, which well meet the requirements of various food compliance regulations and has superior performance properties such as heat and chemical resistance. A method for producing said laminate material and the resultant laminate material are also disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to alkyd resin obtainable by polymerization of reaction components comprising: (a) a polybasic acid; (b) a polyhydric alcohol; (c) an unsaturated fatty acid comprising in the range of from 12 to 24 carbon atoms; and (d) optionally a monocarboxylic acid other than an unsaturated fatty acid comprising in the range of from 12 to 24 carbon atoms and other than a polyhydric alcohol, wherein at least part of the polybasic acid (a) and/or of the monocarboxylic acid (d) is a 1-substituted-5-oxopyrrolidine-3-carboxylic acid obtainable by reacting itaconic acid with a primary amine group of an amine, wherein the amine comprises an aromatic or non-aromatic cyclic group. The invention further relates to a polyurethane-polyester hybrid alkyd resin obtainable by reacting the above alkyd resin with a polyurethane prepolymer with emulsifying groups. The invention further relates to a coating composition comprising such alkyd resin or such polyurethane-polyester hybrid alkyd resin as binder polymer, and to a substrate coated with such coating composition.
