摘要: Polyester polymer compositions are described containing one or more nucleating agents and optionally reinforcing fibers. The polyester polymer, for instance, can be poly butylene terephthalate. The polymer composition is particularly formulated in order to be substantially transparent at specific wavelengths of light. Consequently, the polyester polymer composition is well suited for use in laser transmission welding in which a laser beam passes through the polymer composition and forms a weld on an adjoining surface. In one aspect, a black pigment masterbatch can be added to the composition for further improving the transparency properties.

摘要: Disclosed is a polymeric composition that can include at least 95 wt. % of a polypropylene copolymer, and 50 ppm to 2000 ppm of an aryl amide containing clarifying agent, a phosphate ester salt containing clarifying agent, or a combination thereof. The polymeric composition can have a haze value of A after being extruded once and a haze value of B after being extruded 2 times, wherein the ratio of A to B is 1 to 1.35, wherein A is less than 25%, and wherein A and B are determined in accordance with ASTM D1003, at a thickness of about 40 mil.

摘要: The present invention is a polyamide resin composition which contains 50 to 90% by mass of a crystalline polyamide resin (A) and 9 to 49% by mass of a talc (B). The average particle size of secondary particles of the talc (B) in the polyamide resin composition is 30 μm or less. The polyamide resin composition has an exothermic peak present on a high temperature side of a maximum exothermic peak of a crystallization temperature during cooling in a cooling process of measurement by means of a differential scanning calorimeter. Variations in physical characteristics such as a molding shrinkage, mechanical characteristics, and a heat distortion temperature of the polyamide resin composition are suppressed among different production machines or different production lots. Consequently, characteristics within desired ranges are stably obtained.

the sodium acetate content is 0.05 mass % or more and less than 2 mass %.-

摘要: The present invention is a polyamide resin composition containing 50 to 90% by mass of a crystalline polyamide resin (A) and 9 to 49% by mass of a talc (B), and preferably further containing a coupling agent (C) and a fatty acid metal salt (D), in which an average particle size of secondary particles of the talc (B) in the polyamide resin composition is greater than 30 μm. The polyamide resin composition is less likely to cause a poor appearance of a molded article or occurrence of sink marks, and can stably provide characteristics within desired ranges.

摘要: A thermoplastic composition includes: (a) a thermoplastic polymer component including a crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer: (b) carbon fiber: (c) from about 0.01 wt % to about 10 wt % of at least one nucleating agent including a non-electrically conducting filler, an organic nucleation agent, or a combination thereof; and (d) from 0 wt % to 30 wt % of an amorphous polymer. The carbon fiber has a nominal fiber diameter of from about 3 micron (μm) to about 13 μm. The composition has a surface resistivity that is at least 50% lower than that of a substantially identical reference composition that does not include the at least one nucleating agent. The combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt. %, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the thermoplastic composition.

摘要: Provided is a vinyl chloride resin composition with which color tone variation caused by molding temperature difference is inhibited and that is capable of forming a vinyl chloride resin molded product having few brown spots. The vinyl chloride resin composition contains a vinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer, a uracil compound, zinc acetylacetonate, and a fatty acid metal salt other than a fatty acid zinc salt. The content of the zinc acetylacetonate is not less than 0.5 times the content of the uracil compound, and the content of the fatty acid metal salt is not less than 1.6 times the content of the zinc acetylacetonate. The vinyl chloride resin composition is preferably used in powder molding.
