The polypropylene polymer composition contains a polypropylene random copolymer in combination with a property enhancing agent. The property enhancing agent is incorporated into the polymer composition so that the composition has relatively high impact resistance properties in combination with a relatively high flexural modulus.

摘要: A polyester composition comprising, based on the total weight of the polyester composition, a first polyester and a second polyester, wherein a weight ratio of the first polyester to the second polyester is 80:20 to 20:80, preferably 60:40 to 40:60; 5 to 60 weight percent (wt %), preferably 5 to 50 wt % of a reinforcing filler; and 5 to 60 wt %, preferably 10 to 50 wt %, more preferably 20 to 50 wt % of an inorganic filler having a specific gravity of greater than 3 grams per cubic centimeter, as determined in accordance with ASTM D792, wherein a molded article comprising the polyester composition has a sound transmission loss of greater than 30 dB, preferably 35 to 50 dB, more preferably 36 to 45 dB, as determined at 1,250 Hz according to ASTM E1050 using a molded disc with a diameter of 100 mm and a thickness of 3.2 mm.

摘要: The disclosure relates to thermally reversibly crosslinked polyolefins (TRC-PO) and methods for making the same. A TRC-PO can be formed by reactive melt-processing a mixture including (i) a polyolefin, (ii) an initiator, and (iii) a reversible crosslinker. The reversible crosslinker includes (A) a grafting agent moiety selected from unsaturated cyclic anhydrides, unsaturated cyclic imides, cyclic nitroxides, and ring-opened analogs thereof, and (B) a crosslinking moiety bound to the cyclic grafting agent moiety. This reactive melt-processing, for example including reactive extrusion, forms a thermally reversibly crosslinked (TRC) polyolefin with polyolefin chains reversibly crosslinked via the reversible crosslinkers, which provide dynamic covalent bonds, such as siloxanes and esters, that are amenable to melt re-processing to re-from or otherwise re-use the TRC-PO while still retaining the reversible crosslinks after re-processing. Catalysts and additives such as rheology modifiers can be added to the melt-processing mixture.

摘要: A rubber composition comprising 0.1 to 2.5 parts by weight of a lubricant having a flow temperature of 50 to 100° C. based on 100 parts by weight of an ethylene/butene/5-ethylidene-2-norbornene terpolymer. This rubber composition is compounded with a specific lubricant, has the following effects. That is, the rubber composition prevents difficulties caused by sticking between unvulcanized rubber compound, improves productivity in the rubber compound preparation process and the vulcanization molding process of crosslinked molded products, such as seal members, and does not impair the low temperature properties of the crosslinked molded products. This rubber composition is effectively used as a crosslinking molding material for seal parts, for which a high pressure gas sealing function is particularly required in a low temperature environment, e.g., −39° C. or lower.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a multilayer film. The multilayer film includes at least two layers including a sealant layer and a second layer in contact with the sealant layer. The sealant layer contains (A) a first ethylene-based polymer having a density from 0.895 g/cc to 0.925 g/cc and a melt index from 0.5 g/10 min to 30 g/10 min; (B) a branched fatty acid amide; and (C) a linear saturated fatty acid amide, wherein the branched fatty acid amide and the linear saturated fatty acid amide have a weight ratio of from 1:5 to 3:1. The second layer contains a second ethylene-based polymer.

摘要: The present invention relates to the use of at least one N,N-dimethylamide as an additive in an elastomeric composition for producing a tread band for vehicle wheels, wherein the N,N-dimethylamide has the formula: formula (I), wherein: R is a C6-C12 alkyl group, and R′ and R″ are methyl. A further aspect of the present invention concerns a vulcanised elastomeric material for producing a tread band for vehicle wheels obtained by vulcanising an elastomeric composition comprising (a) at least one elastomeric polymer, (b) at least one reinforcing filler selected among hydroxides, oxides and hydrated oxides, salts and hydrated salts of metals or mixtures thereof and (c) at least one N,N-dimethylamide of formula (I). An additional aspect of the present invention concerns a tread band for vehicle wheels comprising a vulcanised elastomeric material, which vulcanised elastomeric material is obtained by vulcanising an elastomeric composition comprising (a) at least one elastomeric polymer, (b) at least one reinforcing filler selected among hydroxides, oxides and hydrated oxides, salts and hydrated salts of metals or mixtures thereof and (c) at least one N,N-dimethylamide of formula (I). The inventive use and the inventive composition provide effective elastomeric materials particularly suitable for use as treads on vehicle tyres.
