摘要: Polypropylene polymer compositions are disclosed that can be used to produce different types of molded articles, such as extruded piping structures. The polypropylene polymer composition contains a polypropylene random copolymer in combination with a property enhancing agent. The property enhancing agent is incorporated into the polymer composition so that the composition has relatively high impact resistance properties in combination with a relatively high flexural modulus.

摘要: The present disclosure provides compositions, articles thereof, and methods of forming compositions. In at least one aspect, a composition includes (1) an epoxy, (2) an amino or amido hardener, (3) a polyaniline, (4) a dopant selected from a triazolyl, a thiazolyl, a quinolinyl, a salicylate, a benzoate, a glycolate, a phosphate, a sulfonate, an oxalate, or combination(s) thereof; and (5) a pigment selected from titanium dioxide, silica, talc, mica, aluminium stearate, or combination(s) thereof. The polyaniline+dopant comprises greater than 6 wt %, by weight of the composition. In at least one aspect, a method includes introducing an acid form of a polyaniline to a hydroxide to form a polyaniline hydroxide. The method includes introducing a dopant to the polyaniline hydroxide to form a doped polyaniline.

摘要: A polymer blend including 5 to 95 weight percent of a poly(ester-carbonate-carbonate) comprising 40 to 95 mole percent of ester units comprising low heat bisphenol groups and high heat bisphenol groups, wherein the ester units comprise 20 to 80 mole percent of the low heat bisphenol groups and 20 to 80 mole percent of the high heat bisphenol groups, based on the total moles of ester units in the poly(ester-carbonate-carbonate), and 5 to 60 mole percent of carbonate units comprising the low heat bisphenol groups and the high heat bisphenol groups, wherein the carbonate units comprise 20 to 80 mole percent of the low heat bisphenol groups and 20 to 80 mole percent of the high heat bisphenol groups, based on the total moles of carbonate units in the poly(ester-carbonate-carbonate); and 5 to 95 weight percent of a poly(etherimide), wherein the weight percent of each polymer is based on the total weight of the polymers in the blend, and a molded 0.125-inch thick ASTM tensile bar comprising the polymer blend has a haze value of less than 25% as determined according to ASTM D1003 using the color space CIE1931 with Illuminant C and a 2° observer.

摘要: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition comprising at least one aromatic polycarbonate, talc, at least one anhydride-modified alpha-olefin polymer, at least one organic flame retardant selected from: fluoropolymer-containing anti-drip agents, fluorinated sulfonic acid salts, organic phosphoric acid esters, phosphazenes or mixtures of at least two of the abovementioned agents and barium sulfate. The invention further relates to a production process for such a composition and to a molded article producible from this composition.
The composition contains barium sulfate in an amount of ≥3% by weight based on the total weight of the composition. ≥5% by weight is preferred.
