Abstract: Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.

Abstract: An asphalt composition having a low VOC content composed of an asphalt material; a volatile methylated siloxane from the group of linear methylated siloxane, cyclic methylated siloxane, branched methylated siloxane and any mixtures thereof and fillers, additives organic VOC solvents conventionally used in such a composition, wherein the composition has a VOC level that allows the composition to be used in venues having restricted low levels of VOC.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a curable composition for adhesive agents that cures at a low temperature and that can form a cured article having excellent heat resistance, crack resistance, and adhesive properties and tight bonding properties for adhereds. The present invention provides a curable composition for adhesive agents containing a polyorganosilsesquioxane (A) having a constituent unit represented by Formula (1) below; a mole ratio of a constituent unit represented by Formula (I) below to a constituent unit represented by Formula (II) below (constituent unit represented by Formula (I)/constituent unit represented by Formula (II)) being from 20 to 500; a proportion of the constituent unit represented by Formula (1) below and a constituent unit represented by Formula (4) below being from 55 to 100 mol % relative to a total amount (100 mol %) of siloxane constituent units; a number average molecular weight being from 2500 to 50000; and a molecular weight dispersity (weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight) being from 1.0 to 4.0.

Abstract: Described herein is a two-part condensation curable adhesive composition suitable for adhering a front lens having an inner surface coated with an anti-haze coating to a lamp body to create a sealed lamp unit. In general, once cured in place, residual ingredients from the adhesive composition or by-products of cure reactions thereof do not visibly inhibit functionality of the anti-haze coating of the sealed lamp unit.
