摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition that contains, based on 100 mass parts for a total of (A) and (B), at least 20 mass parts but less than 50 mass parts of (A) a polyalkylene terephthalate resin and more than 50 mass parts and not more than 80 mass parts of (B) a polystyrene resin or a rubber-reinforced polystyrene resin, wherein an intrinsic viscosity (IVA) of the polyalkylene terephthalate resin (A) is 0.3 to 0.8 dl/g and a melt viscosity (ηB) of the polystyrene resin or rubber-reinforced polystyrene resin (B) at 250° C. and 912 sec−1 is at least 80 Pa·sec.

摘要: Provided is a binder composition that is capable of producing a conductive material dispersion liquid having excellent dispersibility and that can cause an electrochemical device to display excellent cycle characteristics. The binder composition contains a first polymer, a second polymer, and an organic solvent. The first polymer includes a nitrile group-containing monomer unit and includes either or both of an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer unit and an alkylene structural unit. The second polymer includes a structural unit of the following formula (I) in a proportion of 70 mass % to 95 mass %. In formula (I), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a phenyl group, an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 6, or a phenyl group including one to three alkyl groups having a carbon number of 1 to 6, and n represents an integer of 3 or more.

摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition comprises: about 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin; about 3 parts by weight to about 20 parts by weight of a rubber-modified aromatic vinyl copolymer resin; about 12 parts by weight to about 28 parts by weight of talc having an average particle size of about 8 μm to about 20 μm and a blackness degree L* of less than about 90; about 5 parts by weight to about 20 parts by weight of acicular inorganic fillers; and about 10 parts by weight to about 30 parts by weight of a phosphorus flame retardant. The thermoplastic resin composition can have good properties in terms of light shielding, impact resistance, dimensional stability, flame retardancy, balance therebetween, and the like.

摘要: Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition, including (a) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin including 80-100% by weight of a base resin and 0-20% by weight of a reinforcing resin; (b) 2-60 parts by weight of linear carbon fibers having an average diameter of 1-15 μm; (c) 1-5 parts by weight of carbon nanofibrils having a BET specific surface area of 200-400 m2/g; (d) 1-15 parts by weight of carbon nanoplates; and (e) 1-25 parts by weight of metal powder, a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition, and an injection-molded article manufactured using the thermoplastic resin composition. The thermoplastic resin composition has excellent mechanical properties, e.g., impact strength, and also excellent conductivity, heat resistance, and electromagnetic wave shielding capacity, particularly high shielding efficiency against high-frequency electromagnetic waves, and thus can be used as automobile, electric, and electronic parts, and as a substitute for aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys.

摘要: An optically responsive material including a composite matrix, and a plurality of colloidal nanowire geodes arranged within the composite matrix is disclosed. The optically responsive material has an optical resonance in at least one spectral region, such as in the ultraviolet spectral region, the infrared spectral region, the visible spectral region, or a combination thereof. The optically responsive material can include a composite matrix including a polymer, such as polyvinylidene fluoride. Each of the plurality of colloidal nanowire geodes further may include a hollow colloidal microsphere, and a nanowire coupled to an inner surface of the hollow colloidal microsphere. A method of fabricating optically responsive materials and a method of programming optically responsive materials is also described.
