摘要: Disclosed is a polymeric composition that can include at least 95 wt. % of a polypropylene copolymer, and 50 ppm to 2000 ppm of an aryl amide containing clarifying agent, a phosphate ester salt containing clarifying agent, or a combination thereof. The polymeric composition can have a haze value of A after being extruded once and a haze value of B after being extruded 2 times, wherein the ratio of A to B is 1 to 1.35, wherein A is less than 25%, and wherein A and B are determined in accordance with ASTM D1003, at a thickness of about 40 mil.

摘要: Disclosed herein are EPDM-diene copolymers that have a low molecular weight and are liquid at room temperature. In a specific embodiment, the method of making the copolymer includes: adding a solvent to a reactor; adding a propylene and a catalyst mixture to the solvent in the reactor to make a first reaction mixture, where the catalyst mixture includes: one or more catalysts, one or more cocatalysts, and one or more catalyst reactivators; contacting an ethylene to the first reaction mixture to make a second reaction mixture; and contacting a vinyl norbornene to the second reaction mixture to make a copolymer, where the copolymer has a molecular weight from about 2,500 g/mol to about 1,000,000 g/mol, and where the copolymer has a viscosity from about 1,000 cP to about 2,500,000 cP at 100° C.

摘要: The invention provides a polyolefin-based resin film including a polyolefin-based resin composition that comprises a propylene-α olefin random copolymer, an ethylene-butene copolymeric elastomer, and a propylene-butene copolymeric elastomer, wherein (1) the polyolefin-based resin composition contains 2 to 9 parts by weight of the ethylene-butene copolymeric elastomer and 2 to 9 parts by weight of the propylene-butene copolymeric elastomer based on 100 parts by weight of the propylene-α olefin random copolymer; (2) the polyolefin-based resin film exhibits a thermal shrinkage rate after heating at 120° C. for 30 minutes of 25% or less in a direction in which the thermal shrinkage rate after heating at 120° C. for 30 minutes is larger between a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction of the polyolefin-based resin film; and (3) a planar orientation coefficient ΔP calculated from a refractive index of the polyolefin-based resin film is 0.0100-0.0145.

摘要: A thermoplastic elastomer composition for overmolding a predominantly polyamide substrate, a method for the preparation of an overmolded article, and an overmolded article having a layer of thermoplastic elastomer is provided. The thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises a thermoplastic vulcanizate, an olefinic block copolymer, and a maleated functionalized polyolefin copolymer. The method for the preparation of the overmolded article comprises heating the thermoplastic elastomer composition followed by applying the heated composition to at least a portion of the predominantly polyamide substrate.

摘要: The present invention relates to a polypropylene based composition comprising: (A) from 40.0 to 85.0 wt % of a heterophasic propylene copolymer having a content of xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction in the range of 15 wt % to 35 wt %, based on the total weight of the heterophasic propylene copolymer; (B) from 5.0 to 15.0 wt % of a random copolymer of propylene with comonomer units selected from ethylene and alpha-olefins having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms which has been polymerized in the presence of a single-site catalyst system and has a melting temperature Tm as measured in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) of less than 140° C.; (C) from 5.0 to 25.0 wt % of an ethylene copolymer with alpha-olefin comonomer units having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms with a density of from 850 kg/m3 to 900 kg/m3; and (D) from 5.0 to 25.0 wt % of an inorganic filler, wherein the amounts of components (A), (B), (C), and (D) are all based on the total weight amount of the polypropylene based composition, said polypropylene based composition having a melt flow rate (MFR2) as measured at 230° C. and 2.16 kg load in accordance with ISO 1133 in the range of 2.0 g/10 min to 20.0 g/10 min, an article comprising said polypropylene based composition and the use of said copolymer (B) for reducing the paint adhesion failure of an article comprising said polypropylene based composition.

摘要: The invention relates to a polypropylene composition comprising: a) a bimodal random Ziegler-Natta propylene copolymer having a comonomer content of 2.0 to 4.5 wt.-%, said copolymer comprising: (i) 30 to 70 wt.-% of a first propylene copolymer having a comonomer content in the range of 0.1 to 4.5 wt.-% relative to the total weight of the first propylene copolymer, and an MFR2 of 1 to 100 g/10 min; and (ii) 70 to 30 wt.-% of a second propylene copolymer having a comonomer content in the range of 1.0 to 15 wt.-% relative to the total weight of the second propylene copolymer and an MFR2 of 1 to 100 g/10 min; with the proviso that the comonomer content of the second propylene copolymer (ii) is higher than for the first propylene copolymer (i); and b) at least one hindered amine light stabiliser.
