摘要: A polyolefin-polystyrene multi-block copolymer and a method of producing the same is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the polyolefin-polystyrene multi-block copolymer has a first complex viscosity of 40,000 Pa·s to 350,000 Pa·s at a temperature of 160° C. and a first frequency of 0.5 rad/s, and has a second complex viscosity of 900 Pa·s to 3,500 Pa·s at a temperature of 160° C. and a second frequency of 125 rad/s. The polyolefin-polystyrene multi-block copolymer has a structure in which polystyrene chains are attached to both ends of a polyolefin chain.

摘要: A composite part manufactured via a dual cast slush molding technique includes a skin layer having a first side and an opposite second side and a foam layer formed in situ on the second side of the skin layer. The first side of the skin layer defines a Class A surface. The skin layer and the foam layer each comprise a polymer of the same type and are respectively formed from a first resin-based composition and a second resin-based composition. The first resin-based composition and the second resin-based composition each may comprise a polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-based composition or a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO)-based composition.

摘要: A resin composition contains a polyphenylene ether compound, a styrene block copolymer, a polybutadiene compound, and a curing agent. The polyphenylene ether compound has, in a molecule thereof, at least one of a group expressed by formula (1) or a group expressed by formula (2). The polybutadiene compound has an epoxy group in a molecule thereof. The curing agent contains an allyl compound expressed by formula (3). In the formula (1), p indicates an integer from 0 to 10, Z indicates an arylene group, and R1 to R3 each independently indicate either a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group. In the formula (2), R4 indicates either a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group. In the formula (3), RA indicates either an alkyl group or an alkenyl group, each having 8 to 22 carbon atoms.

摘要: Disclosed are a high melt index thermoplastic elastomer and a preparation method therefor. In the present invention, an emulsion polymerization system and a reversible addition chain transfer free radical polymerization technique are used, and a thermoplastic elastomer having a block structure with a high melt index is obtained by means of controlling reaction temperatures of different stages. The present invention is simple in terms of workflow and equipment and energy-saving and environmentally friendly in terms of process, and the raw materials thereof are cheap and easy to obtain, and the resulting high melt index thermoplastic elastomer has an excellent hot workability.

摘要: Existing feedstock for additive manufacturing is mostly stiff, fragile plastics. We report a class of 3D printable, ultrasoft and stretchable elastomers by exploiting the self-assembly of responsive bottlebrush-based triblock copolymers. The microphase separation of the architecturally and chemically distinct blocks results in physically crosslinked networks that are stimuli-reversible, enabling their use for in-situ direct-write printing soft, elastic, and deformable 3D structures. The elastomers are 100% solvent-reprocessable yet thermostable within a wide range of temperature. Moreover, they exhibit an extensibility up to 600% and a Young's modulus low to ˜102 Pa, 106 times softer than plastics and more than 100 times softer than all existing 3D printable elastomers.

Component (b) is one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of titanium dialkoxybis(acetylacetonate), titanium tetraisopropoxide, tetra-tertiary-butyl titanate, and an aluminum catalyst. Agent B is a composition containing component (c) and component (d). Component (c) is an organic polymer having two or more hydrolyzable silyl groups. Component (d) is a curing agent for component (a).

The foamed resin molded body is made of an olefin-based resin composition containing an olefin resin and a polyamide resin, the olefin-based resin composition has a continuous phase containing the olefin resin and a dispersed phase dispersed in the continuous phase and containing the polyamide resin, and the dispersed phase contains a melt-kneaded product of the polyamide resin and an elastomer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin.
