摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition including polycarbonate and ABS resin having superior impact resistance, chemical resistance, flowability, and color phase, and a molded article thereof is provided. A thermoplastic resin composition includes maleimide based copolymer (A) including aromatic vinyl monomer unit, vinyl cyanide monomer unit, and maleimide monomer unit; polycarbonate (B); and at least one resin (C) selected from the group including ABS resin, ASA resin, AES resin, and SAN resin; wherein: the maleimide monomer unit is contained by 0.5 to 10 mass % and the polycarbonate (B) is contained by 20 to 70 mass % in 100 mass % of the thermoplastic resin composition.

摘要: Thermoplastic compositions include: (a) from 10 wt % to 95 wt % of a polycarbonate component: (b) from 0.1 wt % to 50 wt % of a reinforcing filler: (c) from 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of an impact modifier component having a linear polymer structure; and from 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of a hydrocarbon additive. A weight percent ratio of the hydrocarbon additive to the impact modifier in the composition is 1:1 or lower. The hydrocarbon additive may include saturated carboxylic and acyclic structures. In particular aspects the impact modifier component has a linear, non-polarized polymer structure, and the composition has improved Izod impact properties and/or gloss properties as compared to a reference composition that includes a polarized impact modifier instead of the impact modifier component.

摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention comprises: approximately 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin; approximately 20-80 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin; approximately 15-70 parts by weight of glass fiber; approximately 1-10 parts by weight of epoxy-modified polystyrene; approximately 1-20 parts by weight of a styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene copolymer; and approximately 0.2-4 parts by weight of dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO), wherein the weight ratio of the epoxy-modified polystyrene and the styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene copolymer is approximately 1:0.5 to 1:10. The thermoplastic resin composition has excellent impact resistance, flowability, appearance characteristics and the like, and has low dielectric constant, dielectric loss and the like.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a polycarbonate composition including the following components, relative to the total weight of the composition: A) 30-80 wt. % of a copolycarbonate, B) 10-40 wt. % of a homopolycarbonate, C) 8-25 wt. % of a phosphorous flame retardant, D) 0-8 wt. % of an impact modifier, and E) 0-8 wt. % of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer. The weight-average molecular weight of the homopolycarbonate is in the range of 24000-28000 g/mol, the total amount of impact modifier and the styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer is no more than 15 wt. %. The present disclosure also relates to a shaped article made from the composition. The polycarbonate composition according to the present invention has a high comparative tracking index, good flowability, and good flame retardancy.

摘要: The present invention relates to a polycarbonate-based resin composition including: a polycarbonate-based resin (A); and a perfluoroalkylsulfonimide (B) represented by the following formula (1), wherein the polycarbonate-based resin (A) has a branching ratio of 0.30 mol % or more and 3.0 mol % or less, which is calculated from the expression “(number of moles of structural unit derived from branching agent)/(number of moles of structural unit derived from dihydric phenol+number of moles of structural unit derived from branching agent+number of moles of terminal unit)×100,” and wherein a content of the perfluoroalkylsulfonimide (B) is 0.05 part by mass or more and 2.0 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polycarbonate-based resin (A).

摘要: Polymeric compositions, methods of making the compositions, and composites, such as computer chassis containing the compositions are described. The polymeric compositions can contain 20 wt. % to 50 wt. % of a post-consumer mechanical recycled polycarbonate; 10 wt. % to 50 wt. % of a renewably sourced polycarbonate; 10 wt. % to 30 wt. % of a filler containing carbon fibers, wherein at least a portion of the carbon fibers are obtained from a post-industrial recycled source; and 5 wt. % to 15 wt. % of a flame retardant, wherein the polymeric compositions have a total recycled and renewable content of 50 wt. % to 90 wt. %.
