摘要: An inkjet composition for an inkjet printer, a light-emitting device including the same, and a method of manufacturing the light-emitting device are provided. The ink composition may include light-emitting diodes and a solvent. The solvent may have a first viscosity at a first temperature section that may be greater than a second viscosity at a second temperature section. The solvent may include an ester compound of citric acid, glycol, alkanediol, alkanolamine, alkenic acid, alkenol, a pyrrolidone group-containing compound, glycerol, a compound represented by Formula 1, a compound represented by Formula 2, or any combination thereof: Substituents in Formula 1 and Formula 2 may be understood as described in connection with the detailed description. Each of the light-emitting diodes may have a size in a range of about 0.1 μm to about 10 μm.

摘要: An improved system and method for reading an upconversion response from nanoparticle inks is provided. A is adapted to direct a near-infrared excitation wavelength at a readable indicia, resulting in a near-infrared emission wavelength created by the upconverting nanoparticle inks. A short pass filter may filter the near-infrared excitation wavelength. A camera is in operable communication with the short pass filter and receives the near-infrared emission wavelength of the readable indicia. The system may further include an integrated circuit adapted to receive the near-infrared emission wavelength from the camera and generate a corresponding signal. A readable application may be in operable communication with the integrated circuit. The readable application receives the corresponding signal, manipulates the signal, decodes the signal into an output, and displays and/or stores the output.

摘要: A magnetic pigment flake includes a filtering film layer, with magnetic or magnetizable material, and a metal nanoparticles layer, formed on a surface of the filtering film layer. The metal nanoparticles layer is configured to generate scattered light enhanced by a local surface plasmon resonance under an irradiation of visible light exceeding a predetermined intensity. An optically variable ink includes an ink body and the above-mentioned magnetic pigment flakes. An anti-falsification article includes an article body and the above-mentioned optically variable ink. The magnetic pigment flake of the optically variable ink is magnetically oriented, such that a bright and dark areas are generated with a viewing angel changing under an irradiation of visible light below the predetermined intensity. Under an irradiation of visible light exceeding the predetermined intensity, light with a color different from that of the bright area is generated on a corresponding position of the dark area.

The material or transfer medium includes elastic properties that allow the nanocrystals to display a temporary color determined by the strength of an external force applied to the article, and the material or transfer medium includes memory properties that cause the displayed temporary color to dissipate when the external force is removed, wherein the dissipation of the displayed temporary color is sufficiently slow as to be visually observable by an average observer's unaided eye.

摘要: Eye enhancement contact lenses are disclosed having patterns configured to change the cosmetic appearance of the wearer's iris and limbus, made using inks containing special effect pigments in sufficient amounts to render the patterns less visible when positioned over the sclera, because of placement or normal lens movement on eye, than the same pattern free of interference pigments, thereby providing a more natural appearance. The special effect pigments comprise muscovite mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, synthetic aluminum oxides, borosilicates, calcium aluminum borosilicates, silicon dioxide platelets, metal oxide coated muscovite mica, metal oxide coated synthetic fluorphologopite, metal oxide coated synthetic aluminum oxides, metal oxide coated borosilicates, metal coated calcium aluminum borosilicates, metal oxide coated silicon dioxide platelets and combinations thereof. In some patterns, the special effect pigments are more concentrated in the periphery which is most likely portion of the pattern move over the sclera during wear.

摘要: A ligand-modified quantum dot composition, a ligand-modified quantum dot layer, preparation methods thereof, and a quantum dot light emitting diode are provided. Segment B of the ligand modifier in the ligand-modified quantum dot composition is a chain-cleavable segment, that is, segment B is a longer molecular chain, so that the material has good solubility and stability, thus the ligand-modified quantum dot composition is present in the form of a solution or ink, etc. Segment B itself is not very stable and may be cleaved under certain conditions. In specific applications, the group in segment B may be cleaved by heating or illumination, so that the ligand modifier becomes a short molecular chain ligand, thereby making the quantum dots densely stack and improving the carrier transfer performance.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a display device comprises the steps of: spraying, on a target substrate having a first electrode and a second electrode formed thereon, an element ink comprising a first element solvent and light-emitting elements dispersed in the first element solvent; forming a second element solvent in which at least some bonds of the first element solvent are decomposed by irradiating light to the first element solvent and mounting the light-emitting elements on the first electrode and the second electrode; and removing the second element solvent.
