摘要: The present disclosure relates to a wood article and a process for preparing the wood article. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a wood article comprising a wood substrate comprising acidic substances and having at least one major surface; a sealing coating applied on the major surface of the wood substrate; and a Michael Addition curing coating applied on the sealing coating, wherein the sealing coating is formed by a sealing agent comprising one or more chosen from an aqueous latex of polyurethane acrylics polymer, an aqueous latex of carboxyl functional self-crosslinkable acrylics polymer, an aqueous latex of cationic acrylics polymer, an aqueous latex of polyvinyl acetate and a two-component polyurethane coating system; and wherein the Michael Addition curing coating is formed from a two-component curable coating composition.

摘要: The present disclosure describes thermoformable sheets capable of retaining an absorbing stain, pigmented sealer or clear sealer. The unique resin binder formulations and products include porosity-promoting agents that result in the resin binder having a porous surface capable of being stained, while still having the favorable properties of traditional Thermofoil products. The methods of the invention produce a Thermofoil product that can be stained with a variety of stains and colorants after manufacturing to suit the individual builder's or homeowner's preference.

摘要: Provided is a composition for steel sheet surface coating, the composition comprising colloidal silica, a silane, a monomer, an organic resin, an acidity adjuster, a long-term corrosion-resistance improver, and a solvent; and a steel sheet coated with the composition. The steel sheet has excellent acid resistance, and maintains thickness uniformity thereof even when exposed to an acid for an extended period of time.

摘要: Provided is a curable compound having a low melting temperature, having excellent workability as a result of having good solvent solubility, and being capable of forming a cured product having excellent heat resistance. The curable compound according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following characteristics (a) to (e). (a) Number average molecular weight (calibrated with polystyrene standard): 1000 to 15000. (b) Proportion of a structure derived from an aromatic ring in the total amount of the curable compound: 50 wt. % or greater. (c) Solvent solubility at 25° C.: 1 g/100 g or greater. (d) Glass transition temperature: 280° C. or lower. (e) 5% Weight loss temperature (Td5) measured at a rate of temperature increase of 10° C./min (in nitrogen), for a cured product of the curable compound: 300° C. or higher.

摘要: Disclosed are compositions for coating substrates used in wet environments including boats, ships, other marine vessels and their parts that are submerged in water. The compositions comprise solvent-borne monomers, diluent, an adhesion promoter, a rheology modifier and a ceramic performance additive such as hollow spheres and non-hollow spheres. Once the composition is applied to a substrate, the coatings protect by minimizing cavitation and underwater radiation noise when the marine vessel is in operation. The coatings may also exhibiting improved substrate adhesion, overcoat adhesion, recoat adhesion, bending strength of at least 10 mm, reduced noise radiation, and/or improved hardness as indicated by scratch resistance (relative to a control).

摘要: Specific embodiments of the present disclosure provide a composite coating. In the composite coating, a plasma of a multifunctional-group monomer having an epoxy structure and a plasma of an ester-based coupling agent are used to form a coating as a base coating, and a plasma of an unsaturated ester-based monomer having aromatic ring(s) and a plasma of an ester-based coupling agent are used to form a coating as an anti-corrosion coating. The composite coating has a high binding force with a substrate and a strong corrosion resistance.
