摘要: The embodiments herein relate to a substrate coated with a multi-layer coating system including: optionally a primer layer applied to the substrate and deposited from a primer coating composition; a tie-coat layer applied to the substrate or to the optional primer layer, deposited from a tie-coat composition including a binder polymer obtainable by copolymerizing a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, the binder polymer having curable alkoxysilyl functional groups. The substrate can include a topcoat layer applied to the tie-coat layer, and deposited from a non-aqueous liquid foul release coating composition including a curable resin system including i) a curable polymer and optionally ii) a curing agent and/or a catalyst, where the non-aqueous liquid foul release coating composition is essentially free of a curable polysiloxane.

摘要: A wood preservative composition comprising 4,5-dichloro-2-octylisothiazol-3(2H)-one, a method of treating a wood substrate therewith, and a wood product produced therefrom are provided. The wood preservative composition comprises at least 0.5% by weight of DCOI based on the total weight of the composition and a retaining additive comprising a solvent-borne polymeric resin, a wax, or a combination thereof. A weight ratio of the DCOI to the retaining additive in the composition is in a range of 1:5 to 5:1.

摘要: A method of forming an antimicrobial film, including providing a substrate with a polymer coating disposed thereon, the polymer coating including: an antimicrobial material, an inner surface contacting the substrate, and an outer surface opposite the inner surface; and extracting ions from the antimicrobial material toward the outer surface, such that the outer surface interacts with surface microorganisms. A composition, including a polymer; an antimicrobial material; and at least one of an organic solvent and an additive. The antimicrobial material comprises at least one of copper-containing glass particles, copper oxide particles, copper metal particles, copper salts, copper coordination complexes, cuprite crystals, and a combination thereof. Further, the additive can be selected to increase the oxidation resistance of the antimicrobial material.

摘要: The disclosure provides a disinfectant liquid capable of realizing long-lasting and effective disinfection and sterilization, a preparation method therefor and a film layer. The disinfectant liquid comprises: an active chlorine source accounting for 0.05-20 wt % of the total weight of the disinfectant liquid; an active chlorine stabilizer accounting for 0.05-20 wt % of the total weight of the disinfectant liquid; and a pH buffering agent accounting for 0.05-5 wt % of the total weight of the disinfectant liquid, so that the disinfectant liquid has a pH between 5.5 and 9.0. The disinfectant liquid can provide active chlorine at a stable concentration for a long time, or can sustainably release active chlorine for a long time, thereby providing the function of sustainably and effectively killing various viruses, bacteria, molds, fungi and spores for a long time.

摘要: Disclosed are pigmented multifunctional barrier coating compositions for application to components such as aircraft interior components. In embodiments, compositions include a base coating component in an amount from 5 to 40 weight percent of the composition, a solvent in an amount from 50 to 70 weight percent of the composition, and at least two performance components from an FST-resistive component in an amount from 0.1 to 5 weight percent of the composition, a UV-resistive component in an amount from 0.1 to 2 weight percent of the composition, an antimicrobial component in an amount from 0.1 to 5 weight percent of the composition, and a dye component in an amount less than 0.5 weight percent of the composition. The composition further includes pigment in an amount up to 10 weight percent of the composition for imparting a cosmetic appearance to the component such as a metallic appearance.
