    摘要: A method for producing ferrocoke in which it is possible to use a cheap and poor-quality coal having a high ash content while suppressing the decrease of the strength in ferrocoke or formed coke and a special coal mixing is not performed with respect to the fusion frequently causing problems in the carbonization with the shaft furnace. In a method for producing ferrocoke by molding and carbonizing a mixture of coal and iron ore, the coal is a single coal or a mixture of plural coals and a non-caking or slight caking coal having a load average value of ash content of not less than 10.7% and a load average value of mean maximum reflectance of not less than 0.81% is used.

    摘要: According to the invention, the loose coal is displaced from the peaks to the valleys of the waves on the narrow, long coal cake and is beaten down on the coal cake. The inventive device comprises at least one scraper (12) and at least one vertically movable impact plate (13) that are disposed one behind another and are fitted with a connection (7) to a holder. Furthermore, means are provided for generating a relative movement between the scraper (12) and the impact plate (13) and between the scraper (12) and a stamping form. The scraper (12) and the impact plate (13) are interconnected by means of a device frame (14) so as to form a structural unit (6) that is connected to the holder. Preferably, the structural unit (6) can be moved along the stamping form and is equipped with a drive unit. For this purpose, the holder encompasses a guide that extends along the stamping form as well as a carriage or a car which can be slid or moved on said guide and to which the unit (6) is connected with the aid of a boom.

    摘要: Compacting rod retainers are disposed on both sides of a web of the compacting rods and consist each of a bushing mounted on a drive shaft eccentrically, on which a carrier is slidably engaged, and cooperating with an associated clamping wedge. The opposite side of the clamping wedge cooperates correspondingly with the web of the compacting rod, so that upon an appropriate rotary motion of the shaft the carrier is moved translating the clamping wedge pressing against the web of the compacting rod, or releasing it. Thereby area pressure is attained, which makes possible the utilization of very heavy compacting rods.

    摘要: The method of producing blast furnace coke by (1) compacting a finely divided coal wherein at least about 60% by weight of the coal has a diameter of less than about 1/8 inch to form a coal compact, which compact immediately after removal from the compacting means comprises at least about 20% by weight of particles having a particle size of less than 1/4 inch in diameter; (2) breaking the thus formed compact such that the bulk density is sufficiently increased to be capable of conversion into coke suitable for use in large blast furnaces upon carbonization thereof; and (3) carbonizing the broken compact to thereby produce blast furnace coke having a minimum hardness of about 68 and a minimum stability of about 55. The compacting is preferably performed at a pressure equivalent to that achieved by passing the finely divided coal between rolls at a pressure applied to the coal of between about 20 and about 60 tons per lineal inch. Also preferably in the breaking step at least about 95% of the compacted coal is reduced to particle sizes ranging from about one inch to less than about 100 mesh.The invention also includes a system comprising a coal blender, a coal compactor, apparatus for breaking the formed coal compact, and a coking oven and apparatus for charging the broken compact into the oven.

    摘要: An apparatus for compacting coal in a pounding box to convert it into a cake usable in coke ovens has one or more punners which are each composed of an upright the lower end of which carries a pounding foot. At opposite sides of the respective upright are arranged a pair of engaging elements which are made to engage the upright and are then moved to an upper position, during which movement they take along the upright to raise the pounding foot above the coal in the pounding box. On reaching their upper position the engaging elements release the upright so that the punner can drop by gravity onto the coal in the box.

    摘要: A biocoke producing apparatus has a reaction vessel that has a preset temperature range and pressure range for, without carbonizing of the pulverized biomass, inducing a pyrolytic or thermal curing reaction of lignin and hemicellulose thereof. The reaction vessel has a pressurization device for pressurizing to the pressure range, a heating device for heating to the temperature range in the state of the pressurization and a cooling device for cooling after maintaining of the above state. Multiple reaction vessels are provided. A pulverization delivery conveyor is provided superior to these reaction vessels, and each of the multiple reaction vessels is connected via a connection tube to the conveyor. The connection tube is provided with a pulverizate charging device for charging a given amount of pulverized biomass in accordance with a timing of pulverizate charging to the reaction vessels.
