摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system for producing refined hydrocarbons from waste plastics. The method and system for producing refined hydrocarbons from waste plastics according to the embodiments of the present disclosure may minimize formation of an ammonium chloride salt (NH4Cl) and may prevent an adhesion phenomenon of impurity particles in a reactor in a refining process of waste plastic pyrolysis oil containing impurities including chlorine and nitrogen. In addition, refined hydrocarbons having excellent quality of a significantly low content of impurities and a significantly low content of olefins, and a high octane number may be produced.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system for producing syngas containing hydrogen from waste plastic pyrolysis oil. The method and system for producing syngas containing hydrogen from waste plastic pyrolysis oil according to the embodiments of the present disclosure may minimize formation of an ammonium salt (NH4Cl) and may prevent an adhesion phenomenon of impurity particles in a reactor in a refining process of waste plastic pyrolysis oil containing impurities including chlorine and nitrogen. The method and system for producing syngas containing hydrogen according to the present disclosure may have excellent refining efficiency and may implement a long-term operation of a process because a catalyst used in the process is prevented from being deactivated, and may produce lightened and refined hydrocarbons having a low content of impurities and a low content of olefins from waste plastic pyrolysis oil and may thus produce syngas containing hydrogen.

摘要: An apparatus for pyrolysis of a mixed plastic stream that contains polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is provided in which the chloride from PVC is removed from an initial melting reactor that heats the mixed plastic stream to a sufficient temperature to produce HCl but at a low enough temperature to avoid production of organochlorides. Chloride is primarily removed in a vapor stream from the initial melting reactor, while additional chloride removal may be removed downstream from the melting reactor by the use of sorbent addition to the pyrolysis reactor and by subsequent adsorbent beds.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to apparatus and processes for pyrolysis of feeds, such as plastic feeds. In at least one embodiment, a process includes introducing a plastic melt including a plastic component into a reactor via a nozzle coupled with the reactor. The process includes introducing a catalyst into the reactor via a first conduit coupling the reactor with a riser or a regenerator. The process includes pyrolyzing the plastic component to form a pyrolysis product. The process includes removing the pyrolysis product from the reactor via a second conduit disposed at a top ½ height of the reactor. The process includes removing the catalyst from the reactor via a third conduit disposed at a bottom ½ height of the reactor, wherein the catalyst removed from the reactor comprises ash.

摘要: A hydrocarbon cracker stream is combined with recycle content pyrolysis oil to form a combined cracker stream and the combined cracker stream is cracked in a cracker furnace to provide an olefin-containing effluent. The r-pyoil can be fed to the cracker feed. More specifically the-pyoil is present in said feedstock in an amount of not more than 20% by weight, based on the total weight of the feedstock.

摘要: Processes and systems for making recycle content hydrocarbons, including olefins, from recycled waste material. Recycle waste material may be pyrolyzed to form recycle content pyrolysis oil composition (r-pyoil), at least a portion of which may then be cracked to form a recycle content olefin composition (r-olefin). In some cases, the pyrolysis and cracking may be carried out in different sections of the same furnace, or in different furnaces in the same cracker facility. Pyrolysis conducted in a furnace may or may not require retrofitting a furnace previously used to crack alkanes to form olefins.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods for processing liquefied waste polymers (LWP) containing diolefins. The LWP feed is supplied to steam stripper A to provide a distillate containing diolefins and naphtha, and a distillate bottom. The distillate is subjected to hydrotreatment B to produce a diolefin depleted distillate which is separated by distillation C to give rise to one or more fractions comprising at least a naphtha fraction, an optional middle fraction and a bottom fraction. Hydroprocessing D of the naphtha fraction gives rise to hydrogenated naphtha which is suitable as a feed for a steam cracker E. Since the distillation bottom, bottom fraction and the middle distillate are predominantly free from diolefins, they can be mixed with crude oil and processed further in oil refinery.

摘要: A continuous process for converting waste plastic into recycle for polypropylene polymerization is provided. The process integrates refinery operations to provide an effective and efficient recycle process. The process comprises selecting waste plastics containing polyethylene and polypropylene and then passing the waste plastics through a pyrolysis reactor to thermally crack at least a portion of the polyolefin waste and produce a pyrolyzed effluent. The pyrolyzed effluent is separated into offgas, a naphtha/diesel fraction, a heavy fraction, and char. The naphtha/diesel fraction is passed to a refinery FCC unit, from which is recovered a liquid petroleum gas C3 olefin/paraffin mixture. The C3 paraffins and C3 olefins are separated into different fractions with a propane/propylene splitter. The C3 olefin fraction is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor. The C3 paraffin fraction is optionally passed to a dehydrogenation unit to produce additional propylene and then the resulting C3 olefin is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor. The heavy fraction of pyrolyzed oil is passed to an isomerization dewaxing unit to produce a lubricating base oil.

摘要: Method of producing a fuel oil comprising pyrolysis products from waste plastics includes conducting pyrolysis of a plastic feedstock to produce plastic pyrolysis oil; feeding the plastic pyrolysis oil to a first fractionator to separate the plastic pyrolysis oil into a distillate fraction and a topped pyrolysis product fraction split at a boiling point in the range of 80° C. to 250° C.; and feeding the topped pyrolysis product fraction along with other hydrocarbon streams to a fuel oil blending unit to generate a fuel oil product stream. An associated system for preparing a fuel oil comprising pyrolysis products from waste plastics is also provided.

摘要: A composition having a recycle content value is obtained by reacting a recycle content feedstock to make a recycle content alpha olefin or by deducting from a recycle inventory a recycle content value applied to an alpha olefin composition. At least a portion of the recycle content value in the feedstock or in an allotment obtained by an alpha olefin manufacturer has its origin in recycled waste and/or pyrolysis of recycled waste and/or in thermal steam cracking of recycle content pyoil.
