摘要: An environment control system utilizes oxygen and humidity control devices that are coupled with an enclosure to independently control the oxygen concentration and the humidity level within the enclosure. An oxygen depletion device may be an oxygen depletion electrolyzer cell that reacts with oxygen within the cell and produces water through electrochemical reactions. A desiccating device may be g, a dehumidification electrolyzer cell, a desiccator, a membrane desiccator or a condenser. A controller may control the amount of voltage and/or current provided to the oxygen depletion electrolyzer cell and therefore the rate of oxygen reduction and may control the amount of voltage and/or current provided to the dehumidification electrolyzer cell and therefore the rate of humidity reduction. The oxygen level may be determined by the measurement of voltage and a limiting current of the oxygen depletion electrolyzer cell. The enclosure may be a food or artifact enclosure.

摘要: The present invention relates to a combustion additive comprising a colloidal solution containing dispersed fine metal particles. The present invention also relates to a method for producing the colloid. More particularly the present teaching relates to a combustion additive having a colloid, wherein the colloid comprises metal particles providing in an alkaline aqueous solution, the metal particles being dispersed within that solution and having an average diameter in the range of 30 nm to 30 μm. The colloid can partly/fully substitute water of a water injection system or used as an air humidification component for combustion.

摘要: Disclosed herein are methods and systems that relate to oxidizing a metal ion of a metal oxyanion or a non-metal ion of a non-metal oxyanion from a lower oxidation state to a higher oxidation state at an anode and generate hydrogen gas at the cathode. The metal oxyanion with the metal ion in the higher oxidation state or the non-metal oxyanion with the non-metal ion in the higher oxidation state may be then subjected to a thermal reaction or a second electrochemical reaction, to form oxygen gas as well as to regenerate the metal oxyanion with the metal ion in the lower oxidation state or the non-metal oxyanion with the non-metal ion in the lower oxidation state, respectively.
