摘要: Provided is a slide member having an overlay on a bearing alloy. The overlay has a thickness T and has a sliding surface and an interface with respect to the bearing alloy. The overlay includes an intermetallic compound and a matrix of Bi or a Bi alloy. In a thickness domain constituting 70%-75% of the thickness T of the overlay from the sliding surface to the interface, the volume proportion of the intermetallic compound is 10%-70%.

摘要: Methods for light-induced electroplating of aluminum are disclosed herein. Exemplary methods may comprise preparing an ionic liquid comprising aluminum chloride (AlCl3) and an organic halide, placing the silicon substrate into the ionic liquid, illuminating the silicon substrate, the illumination passing through the ionic liquid, and depositing aluminum onto the silicon substrate via a light-induced electroplating process, wherein the light-induced electroplating process utilizes an applied current that does not exceed a photo-generated current generated by the illumination.

摘要: A method for compact and flat bismuth metal preparation by electrolysis is provided. In the method, one or more of β-naphthol, acacia, sulfonated and vulcanized alkylphenol ethoxylate and naphthol ethoxylate oxides are added to the acidic solution of bismuth methanesulfonate as additives, and the cathodic bismuth is obtained by electrolysis at 20-80° C. The method for bismuth metal preparation is simple and easy to promote, environment-friendly, and the obtained bismuth metal has a flat and compact surface and good plate formation effect.

摘要: The invention provides a matrix material for the gas diffusion layer of the polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell, which is composed of three-dimensional porous and strip-shaped hexagonal chambers connected to each other, wherein the six-sided ribs are composed of two metal layers, the inside is metal nickel, and the outside is tungsten-nickel alloy. The total mass of metal per square meter of the material is: 1500˜3000 grams, the mass content of metal nickel in the material is 88˜92%, the mass content of metal tungsten is 8˜12%, and the rest are impurities; the thickness of the matrix material is 0.1˜0.2 mm, specific surface area is (1˜2)×105 m2/m3; longitudinal air permeability ≥2000 m/mm/(cm2hmmAq), longitudinal thermal conductivity ≥1.7W/(m·k), transverse thermal conductivity ≥21W/(m·K). The porous nickel-tungsten metal material of the invention, as the matrix material of the gas diffusion layer, has the advantages of lower electrical resistance and higher strength compared with carbon paper.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a system and method for electroplating an alpha emitting radionuclide, such as an actinide, for use in alpha spectroscopy. The electrodeposition system for electroplating an alpha emitting radionuclide can include an electroplating cell containing a solution of an electrolyte and the alpha emitting radionuclide, a metal target within the electroplating cell, and a metal anode at a distance from the metal target. The system also includes a platform for supporting the electroplating cell, coupling mechanism connected to the platform, an electric motor on the elastic cushion, and a flywheel with an uneven weight distribution operatively connected to the electric motor. Rotation of the unevenly distributed flywheel generates a vibration in the electroplating cell which dislodges gas bubbles that have formed between the metal target and the metal anode.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for manufacturing an aperture plate includes depositing a releasable seed layer above a substrate, applying a first patterned photolithography mask above the releasable seed layer, the first patterned photolithography mask having a negative pattern to a desired aperture pattern, electroplating a first material above the exposed portions of the releasable seed layer and defined by the first mask, applying a second photolithography mask above the first material, the second photolithography mask having a negative pattern to a first cavity, electroplating a second material above the exposed portions of the first material and defined by the second mask, removing both masks, and etching the releasable seed layer to release the first material and the second material. The first and second material form an aperture plate for use in aerosolizing a liquid. Other aperture plates and methods of producing aperture plates are described according to other embodiments.
