Abstract: A method of processing a polycrystalline diamond material includes exposing at least a portion of a polycrystalline diamond material to a processing solution, the polycrystalline diamond material including a metallic material disposed in interstitial spaces defined within the polycrystalline diamond material. The method includes exposing an electrode to the processing solution, applying a positive charge to the polycrystalline diamond material, and applying a negative charge to the electrode. An assembly for processing a polycrystalline diamond body includes a polycrystalline diamond body and an electrode that are in electrical communication with a volume of processing solution, and a power source configured to apply a positive charge to the polycrystalline diamond body and a negative charge to the electrode.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an electrolytic brush assembly comprising a handle assembly; a shroud extending from the handle assembly, the shroud having an aperture at a distal end thereof; a brush connecting assembly for releasably connecting a brush to the handle assembly whereby the brush extends through the aperture of the shroud and a fluid delivery assembly. The handle assembly comprises an adjustment sub-assembly for selectively moving the brush connecting assembly and a brush connected thereto relative to the handle assembly and the aperture of the shroud. The fluid delivery assembly delivers electrolytic fluid to the proximity of the brush, optionally under closed loop control.

Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for cleaning materials, such as flooring and upholstery. In some cases, the systems and methods use an electrolytic cell to electrolyze a solution comprising sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium acetate, sodium percarbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and/or any other suitable chemical to generate electrolyzed alkaline water and/or electrolyzed oxidizing water. In some cases, the cell comprises a recirculation loop that recirculates anolyte through an anode compartment of the cell. In some cases, the cell further comprises a sensor and a processor, where the processor is configured to automatically change an operation of the cell, based on a reading from the sensor. In some cases, a fluid flows past a magnet before entering the cell. In some additional cases, fluid from the cell is conditioned by being split into multiple conduits that run in proximity to each other. Additional implementations are described.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for a low maintenance, high reliability on-site electrolytic generator incorporating automatic cell monitoring for contaminant film buildup, as well as automatically removing or cleaning the contaminant film. This method and apparatus preferably does not require human intervention to clean. For high current density cells, cleaning is preferably performed by reversing the polarity of the electrodes and applying a lower current density to the electrodes, preferably by adjusting the salinity or brine concentration of the electrolyte while keeping the voltage constant. Electrolyte flow preferably comprises water and brine flows which are preferably separately monitored and automatically adjusted. For bipolar cells, flow between modules arranged in parallel is preferably approximately equally distributed between modules and between intermediate electrodes within each module.
