摘要： A method is provided for making, with a programmable multi-needle quilting machine, a quilted border loop sidewall panel for a bed mattress or foundation. The method involves executing programming on the machine to run a stitch pattern having a repeat length equal to or greater than a length of a side or end of the mattress or foundation, and preferably corresponding to the length around its perimeter. The stitch pattern presented in the programmed pattern repeat length includes a “prime pattern” having plural stitch pattern elements arranged to provide aperiodic pattern element variation along its length, which length is also equal to or greater than the length of the side or end of the mattress. Once made, the border loop sidewall panel is integrated into a mattress or foundation such that the pattern elements are placed in predetermined registry with selected other portions of the mattress or foundation. In this manner, it is possible to form a desired, reproducible aesthetic effect with high production efficiency.

摘要： Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for quilting webs without compressing the webs. A quilting machine includes a needle bar to which needles are attached, needle thread passing through each needle, a looper shaft to which loopers are attached, a looper corresponding to each needle and from which looper thread is provided to form stitches, and a retainer bar to which spreaders are attached to facilitate stitching. A drive pulley powered by a first servo motor rotates cranks to move the needles through a cycle and rotates a belt which rotates an indexer pulley. Rotation of the indexer pulley oscillates the looper shaft and reciprocates the retainer bar. Another drive pulley powered by a second servo motor operates to move an input web through the machine between chain stiches.

摘要： The invention relates to a quilting machine for fabrics, including at least three pairs of drive rollers between which the fabric can pass, one pair of rollers being the master pair and the other pairs of rollers being the slave pairs, generating a sewing area and a post-sewing area. Each pair of rollers consists of two opposing rollers associated with a set of chains and sprockets allowing the rollers to rotate in opposite directions to one another. The machine also includes pneumatic cylinders, associated with the pairs of drive rollers, for varying the distance between paired rollers, stabiliser bars for maintaining paired rollers parallel to one another, a sewing head, and a controller for controlling all of the pairs of drive rollers and the sewing head independently, exerting tension on the fabric in the sewing and post-sewing areas.

摘要： This application provides a sewing method and structure for a duvet, and the sewing method includes the following steps: first, stacking base cloth, a plurality pieces of retractable cloth and a plurality pieces of connection cloth together in sequence to form a duvet unit; then aligning two duvet units, and sewing the connection cloth on the two duvet units together in a one-to-one correspondence; and finally sewing perimeters of two pieces of the base cloth together in a one-to-one correspondence to form a closed down space. A beneficial effect of this invention is that downs in the duvet cannot run out from the gaps.
