摘要： A combined washer and dryer includes: a cabinet; a tub with a front opening at the laundry inlet and a rear opening; a drum; and a drying device arranged above the tub and configured to supply heated air toward the front opening. The drying device includes: a heat exchanger; a compressor; an inlet flow duct to guide air flowing in through the rear opening toward the heat exchanger; a supply flow duct to guide the air passing through the heat exchanger to be discharged forward; and a blowing fan configured to supply the air discharged from the supply flow duct to the front opening. In addition, the combined washer and dryer may further include: a ventilation hole at a rear surface of the cabinet corresponding to a position where the drying device is disposed; and a cooling fan disposed in the ventilation hole and supplying outside air to the compressor.

摘要： A laundry appliance including an in-door condensing system with a condenser positioned in an in-door cavity and an in-door bowl that includes both an air inlet and an air outlet that communicate air flow into and out of the in-door cavity. The in-door condensing system including a cooling water line that supplies cooling water to the condenser and a common water drain line that collects cooling water flowing out of the condenser and water condensate from inside the in-door cavity. Quick connect water conduit joints couple the cooling water line and water drain line in the appliance door to corresponding lines in the appliance housing. A temperature sensor for measuring the surface temperature of the drum is protected from steam and splash by an air stream flowing through a sensor air duct and by a sliding sensor cover.

摘要： An autonomous system for washing and drying household laundry includes a plurality of autonomous combination washer and dryers each including a perforated drum disposed within a tub mated thereto at a drive end opposite an opening. A first air orifice is disposed through the tub. A detachable door includes a second air orifice configured to receive an air conduit such that air flows through the first and second air orifices during a drying cycle while the door seals the opening. A controller is configured to instruct a drive motor to spin the drum about a spin axis extending between the drive end and the opening. A driven carrier in operable communication with the controller slides along a raised rail disposed adjacent the plurality autonomous combination washer and dryers and retrieves, holds, and reseats a door in an opening of one of the plurality of autonomous combination washer and dryers.
