Abstract:
Disclosed herein are implementations of a weighted fabric and a method of construction thereof. The method for constructing the weighted fabric includes loading a first yarn on a cylinder of a double-knit circular knit machine. The method includes loading the first yarn on a dial of the double-knit circular knit machine. The method includes loading a second yarn on the dial of the double-knit circular knit machine. The method includes knitting the first yarn and the second yarn to construct the weighted fabric. The first yarn may be knitted at a first feed rate. The second yarn may be knitted at a second feed rate. The first feed rate may be greater than the second feed rate. The method may include dyeing the weighted fabric. The method may include framing the weighted fabric.
Abstract:
In one or more embodiments, the present invention relates to a resin composition containing at least a polymer (A) and a polymer (B), in which the polymer (A) is a polymer that includes one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of acrylonitrile, vinyl halides, and vinylidene halides, the polymer (B) is a polymer that is soluble in benzyl alcohol, and the resin composition contains the polymer (A) in an amount of 70 parts by mass or more and 92.5 parts by mass or less, and the polymer (B) in an amount of 7.5 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less, where a total amount of the polymer (A) and the polymer (B) is 100 parts by mass. Provided are synthetic fibers that are easily dyeable with an acidic dye without requiring use of a special facility or heating to high temperatures.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a plastisol based composition for blocking dye migration from a dyed polyester blended cotton fabric or 100% polyester fabric into a print on the fabric, the print being done with a plastisol based color dye on the dyed fabric. The plastisol based composition of the present disclosure comprises an acrylic based resin devoid of vinyl chloride moiety, a plasticizer, an organic wetting agent, a formaldehyde free discharge agent and an extender. A process for printing fabrics using the plastisol based composition of the present disclosure is also disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of indigo derivatives for dyeing synthetic textiles to a process for dyeing synthetic textiles and to dyed textiles and articles containing them. The invention also relates to novel indigo derivatives per se and to a process for the preparation thereof.
Abstract:
A compression knit part composed of a compression knit including a first ground thread and a second ground thread, wherein the first ground thread is composed at least at its surface of a manufactured polyamide fiber that accepts a first dye but not a second dye, and the second ground thread is composed at least at its surface of a manufactured polyester fiber which accepts the second dye but not the first, and a weft thread configured as compression thread.
Abstract:
A textile material exhibiting enhanced energy absorption (e.g., enhanced near-infrared energy absorption) and, optionally, flame resistance. The textile material comprises a textile substrate and a finish disposed on at least one surface of the textile substrate. The finish comprises a binder and an energy-absorbing agent. A method for protecting an individual from infrared radiation that can be generated during an arc flash comprises the step of positioning a textile material between an individual and an apparatus capable of producing an arc flash.
Abstract:
Lightweight, dyeable fabrics with a balance of high thermal properties, especially arc resistance, on the one hand, and durability and comfort properties, on the other hand, are disclosed. Articles, such as garments and linen, made from the lightweight dyeable fabrics are also disclosed. The fabrics are particularly useful in garments for utility workers, industrial workers, military personnel, and firefighters, especially for use in environments requiring high visibility.
Abstract:
In general, the present invention has to do with an improved webbing system incorporating one or more novel safety features such as webbing or yarns dyed with UV reactive dyes and incorporating a UV reference indicator. The UV reference indicator is calibrated to represent the color or shade of the UV reactive dye after a predetermined exposure time to a UV radiation source.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a blue dye mixture which contains the pigments represented by formulae [1], [2], [3], and [4] The present invention also relates to dye mixtures in which there are compounded therewith a yellow dye mixture and/or a red dye mixture. The invention further relates to a method of dyeing polyester-based fibers and dyed polyester-based fibers and dyed polyester-based fiber materials.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of protecting organic material, especially from the pharmaceutical, food and nutrition sectors, from light, which method comprises applying to or incorporating in a carrier material a combination of the dye of formula (1) the dye of formula (2) and a UV absorber and, optionally, further dyes, and positioning the so-treated carrier material between the light source and the organic material to be protected.
