    摘要: A process to delignify biomass, said process comprising the steps of:

    providing a vessel;
    providing biomass comprising lignin, hemicellulose and cellulose fibers into said vessel;
    providing a aqueous acidic composition comprising a sulfuric acid component;
    providing a peroxide component;
    exposing said biomass to said sulfuric acid component and peroxide component, creating a reaction mass;
    allowing said sulfuric acid component and peroxide component to come into contact with said biomass for a period of time sufficient to a delignification reaction to occur and remove over 90 wt % of said lignin and hemicellulose from said biomass; and
    controlling the temperature of the delignification reaction to maintain it below 55° C.

    摘要: A method for separating biomass components by a ternary system, which relates to a technical field of biomass separation, and includes the following steps of: cooking and separating a biomass raw material by using a cooking liquor consisting of organic acid, small aromatic nucleophilic organic molecule and hydrogen peroxide to obtain solid residue and extracting solution, washing and screening the solid residue to obtain paper pulp, and separating and extracting lignin and/or hemicellulose from the extracting solution. This cooking system could effectively minimize the content of residual lignin and other compounds with chromophore groups in the obtained pulp, directly producing the high-whiteness pulp with excellent performance without additional bleaching process. In addition, the hemicellulose saccharides and high-activity lignin can be also obtained, so that the method has an important significance for realizing high value and industrialization of biomass resource utilization.

    摘要: A low energy production process for producing paper pulp from lignocellulosic biomass, the process comprising the following successive steps: a) extracting lignins and hemicellulose from lignocellulosic biomass by putting at least one solid lignocellulosic raw material in the presence of a mixture, composed only of water and of formic acid, at atmospheric pressure and under controlled conditions of reaction temperature between ambient temperature and the reflux temperature of the mixture at atmospheric pressure, preferably between 80° C. and 100° C., with a weight ratio of the at least one solid lignocellulosic raw material/liquid mixture comprised between 1/1 and 1/15, and for a determined period of time of reaction; and b) separating, at atmospheric pressure and at the reaction temperature, a solid fraction, constituting raw paper pulp, from an organic phase containing in solution at least the starting formic acid and water mixture, solubilized monomeric and polymeric sugars, lignins.

    摘要: The present invention provides a pulp product (e.g., paper) comprising cellulose and nanocellulose, wherein the nanocellulose is derived from the cellulose in a mechanical and/or chemical step that is separate from the main pulping process. The pulping process may be thermomechanical pulping or hydrothermal-mechanical pulping, for example. The pulp product is stronger and smoother with the presence of the nanocellulose. The nanocellulose further can function as a retention aid, for a step of forming the pulp product (e.g., in a paper machine). Other embodiments provide a corrugated medium pulp composition comprising cellulose pulp and nanocellulose, wherein the nanocellulose includes cellulose nanofibrils and/or cellulose nanocrystals and the nanocellulose may be hydrophobic. The nanocellulose improves the strength properties of the corrugated medium. In some embodiments, the cellulose pulp is a GreenBox+® pulp and the nanocellulose is derived from the AVAP® process.
