摘要: A fibrous cellulose having a high resin reinforcing effect and a method for manufacturing the same, and a fibrous cellulose composite resin having high strength and a method for manufacturing the same. A fibrous cellulose has an average fiber width of 0.1 μm or more, an average fiber length of 0.02 to 3.0 mm, and a fibrillation ratio of 1.0% or more. A kneaded product of this fibrous cellulose and a resin is formed into a fibrous cellulose composite resin. In manufacturing the fibrous cellulose, a raw material fiber is defibrated so as to have an average fiber width of 0.1 μm or more, an average fiber length of 0.02 to 3.0 mm, and a fibrillation ratio of 1.0% or more. The fibrous cellulose obtained by this method and a resin are kneaded to manufacture a fibrous cellulose composite resin.

摘要: A method for preparing an aqueous suspension may include providing a fibrous substrate comprising cellulose having a Canadian Standard freeness equal to or less than 450 cm3, and microfibrillating the fibrous substrate in an aqueous environment by grinding in the presence of a grinding medium consisting essentially of mullite. The grinding may be carried out in the absence of grindable inorganic particulate material. The grinding medium may be present in an amount of at least about 10% by volume of the aqueous environment. The microfibrillated cellulose may have a fibre steepness of from about 20 to about 50.

摘要: Provided is a method for producing cellulose nanofibers by refining pulp fibers, wherein the method enables obtaining cellulose nanofibers in which a decrease in a molecular weight of cellulose is suppressed, and which can demonstrate superior strength and the like. The present invention is a method for producing cellulose nanofibers, the method including: pretreating pulp fibers in a slurry; and refining, using a high-pressure homogenizer, the pulp fibers in the slurry, the pulp fibers being pretreated, wherein a weight average molecular weight of cellulose of cellulose nanofibers obtained through the refining is 65% or more of a weight average molecular weight of cellulose of the pulp fibers before the pretreating.
