    摘要: The sleeper block unit (1) for railway track systems consists of a sleeper block (2) and of a sleeper shoe (3) that partly surrounds the sleeper block (2). The sleeper block (2) has a head portion (4) and a base portion (6), the head portion (4) extending beyond the base portion (6) in length and in width, thus forming a step (10). At the upper edge of the sleeper shoe (3), a surrounding, upwardly and outwardly extending sealing lip (14) that lies against the step (10) is arranged. As a result, during vertical movements of the sleeper block (2) in the sleeper shoe (3), the sealing lip (14) is deformed substantially vertically in the elastic range rather than rubbing against an outer wall of the sleeper block as in known sleeper block units. In this manner the sealing lip is subject to reduced wear so that the sealing effect is maintained for a longer period and the sleeper block unit (1) has a longer lifetime.

    摘要: A monoblock concrete crosstie for railway tracks that achieves a high performance in operation includes a steel structure that is formed from ultra-resistant high strength steel plates embedded in a concrete element and having pre-stressed cold rolled wires with ends that form button head knots which are anchored to the steel plates. A faceted geometry allows optimal material usage and in turn increases the crosstie-ballast interlocking and stability with respect to the support surface.

    摘要: Disclosed is a heavyweight concrete composition using slag byproducts, including: ground granulated blast furnace slag; slow-cooled electric-arc-furnace oxidizing slag or atomized steel slag used as a fine aggregate; a coarse aggregate; water; and a chemical admixture based on 100 parts by weight high-early-strength cement. Thus, the heavyweight concrete composition contains a large quantity of steel slag and blast-furnace slag that are byproducts in iron-making and steel-making processes, thereby remarkably reducing an amount of emission of carbon dioxide and maximizing the recycling of waste resources for preserving the natural environment. As a result, an eco-friendly heavyweight concrete product can be made.

Each longitudinal member (5) has one or more mounting devices (26) for a rail fixing element (28) each for retaining a rail element (10) on the longitudinal member (5) and at least one of the mounting devices (6) is disposed transversely offset from the sleeper longitudinal axis (6) on at least one of the two longitudinal members (5). The invention further relates to a sleeper (1) of this type which is of a stepped or recessed design at the ends of the longitudinal members (5) , to enable connecting elements (56) to be fitted in these regions in order to secure two rail elements (10) lying end to end.
