摘要: Apparatuses for constructing displacement aggregate piers are disclosed. In one example, a mandrel is provided comprising a tamper head that has cutting teeth on the leading edge thereof. In another example, hydrojet nozzles are provided within one or more of the cutting teeth of the tamper head. In yet another example, the mandrel comprises grout tubes (or grout injection lines) and/or grout inspection lines. In yet another example, the mandrel and/or tamper head can comprise cutting teeth, hydrojet nozzles, grout tubes (or gout injection lines), grout inspection lines, and any combinations thereof.

摘要: A pile shoring wall includes tangent concrete piles that are formed in the ground at an excavation site. The tangent concrete piles include a plurality of a first type of concrete piles in the ground at depths wherein the average depth is d1 and a plurality of a second type of concrete piles. The second type of concrete piles includes 10% and less than 50% of the tangent concrete piles, and each have a shaft of a helical pile secured therewithin. Each helical pile has a bottom portion with helical flights for screwing the helical pile into the ground, and each helical pile is set into the ground to a depth of at least about 2 m below d1. The helical flights of each helical pile are exposed to the surrounding soil and increase resistance below an excavation depth when the site is excavated.

摘要: A construction method of fast-setting polymer grouting for rapid control of slope erosion and landslide. This solution includes a landslide control method and a slope erosion control method: sorting out an operation platform; drilling and grouting of polymer high-pressure jet grouting piles on the diseased slope; drilling a row of grouting water interception holes densely on the rear edge of the diseased slope; drilling, on the operation platform, a plurality of anchor holes on the diseased slope; inserting a ground anchor into each anchor hole and performing polymer grouting to form a polymer anchorage body; laying a steel wire gauze on the surface of the diseased slope, and connecting and fixing the steel wire gauze with the tail end of each ground anchor; spraying a two-component expandable polymer grouting material onto the steel wire gauze to form a polymer anti-scour layer; drilling a plurality of planting holes on the diseased slope with a backpack drill through meshes of the steel wire gauze; and filling each planting hole with grass seed mixed nutrient soil. The present invention has the advantages of short construction period, ecological and environmental protection, convenient construction, high strength and strong scour resistance.

摘要: A system for and method of stabilizing rail track structures using a load transfer apparatus is disclosed. The load transfer apparatus includes a vertical load transfer element and a top load transfer element, wherein the top load transfer element is used to transfer applied locomotive and rail car loads to the vertical load transfer element. In one embodiment, the top load transfer element includes helical flights. In another embodiment, the top load transfer element includes a flared top. In yet another embodiment, the top load transfer element includes a load transfer cap. In a further embodiment, the top load transfer element includes two or more support legs each with a top support attached thereto. The railroad stabilization system can comprise any one type or any combinations of types of the aforementioned load transfer apparatuses.

摘要: A pile pouring structure includes a steel reinforcement cage, a limiting ring arranged on the outer side of the steel reinforcement cage, a plurality of PVC pipes arranged in the steel reinforcement cage, a cut-off layer arranged on the limiting ring, a two-dimensional code display board arranged in one-to-one correspondence with the steel reinforcement cage, the cut-off layer is annular. The two-dimensional code display board is provided with a two-dimensional code which is scanned to enter an information input interface. Information management is achieved in the pile construction process by scanning the two-dimensional code for inputting pile body strength information, thereby improving the work efficiency. The cut-off layer is used as an interface between a pile body and a pile head so that a part needing to be broken is rapidly positioned. The pile head at a part above the cut-off layer is broken so that the cut-off layer is capable of protecting a lower structure.

A grouting pipe, an air injection pipe and a movable piston are inside the grouting valve pipe body. The air injection pipe is connected with the movable piston to apply an air pressure into the movable piston, and the movable piston applied with the air pressure expands in volume to form a closed cavity between a lower part of the movable piston and the grouting valve pipe body, so that grouting is performed according to the position of the movable piston.

摘要: Foundation for a tower of a wind turbine with at least three columns. The foundation includes a reinforced concrete pile corresponding to each of the tower columns. According to one embodiment the pile includes a bolt cage and a main reinforcement formed by a cylindrical framework made up of horizontal rings interconnected by vertical bars. The bolt cage is arranged inside the main reinforcement radially at a distance of less than 0.1 meters. Each of the piles resides in a hole formed in the ground. Concrete is not poured into the holes until the main reinforcements and bolt cages are placed therein and aligned with one another.

The pile has an elongated shaft with at least one lateral compaction protrusion which establishes a regular circumference in the supporting medium. The pile also has a helical blade configured to move the pile into the supporting medium. The bottom of the shaft includes means for forming irregularities in the circumference after compaction by the lateral compaction protrusion. The bore is filled with grout while leaving the pile in the soil.

摘要: A porewater pressure dissipater is disclosed. In one example, a disclosed dissipater includes aggregate; a cylindrical receptacle for receiving the aggregate; a plate having a top surface and a bottom surface and one or more openings transcending from the top surface to the bottom surface wherein the plate secures and compacts the aggregate in the cylindrical receptacle; and one or more access tubes coupled to the top surface of the plate wherein the one or more access tubes are positioned over the one or more openings thereby forming a passageway to the cylindrical receptacle. The disclosed dissipater allows piles and shafts to be embedded at the optimum depth without concerns of liquefaction.
