摘要: The disclosure relates to a trench cutter with at least one milling wheel that is rotatably mounted on a bearing plate and has at least one adjustable cutting tool for crushing soil material, wherein the adjustable cutting tool comprises a base body that is movably mounted on the milling wheel and interacts with the bearing plate in such a way that the adjustable cutting tool moves automatically between a folded-in position and a folded-out position as a function of the angle of rotation when the milling wheel is rotated. The adjustable cutting tool can be moved from the folded-out position into the folded-in position via a first guide element that contacts the bearing plate. According to the disclosure, the first guide element is formed integrally with the base body and projects from the base body in the direction of the bearing plate on a side facing the bearing plate.

摘要: An offloading vacuum system. The system has a tank to capture debris from an excavation site. The debris is pulled into the tank due to a blower pulling air into an attached hose. An internal conveyor within the tank conveys material to an offloading hub. The offloading hub has a ground-facing door which opens to deposit debris into an external conveyor. The external conveyor, when deployed, can move debris from below the tank to a dump container with a wall greater than a height of the tank.

摘要: An apparatus for installing multiple strands of hose below a surface of terrain is provided. The apparatus comprises a chassis and rotating trenching blade assemblies connected to the chassis. The trenching blade assemblies are configured to dig parallel trenches when the apparatus is pulled along the terrain. Curved hose guides are connected to the chassis in trailing positions behind the trenching blades. Each hose guide receives hose from a hose reel on reel mounts connected to the chassis and deposits the hose into a trench dug by a trenching blade assembly. Trench fillers connected to the chassis trail the hose guides. Each trench filler is aligned with a respective hose guide and comprises a number of blades configured to push soil excavated from a trench back into the trench when the apparatus is pulled along the terrain.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for installing a groundwater monitoring well inside a permeable reactive barrier (PRB) trench including excavating a PRB trench, installing a trench side-wall support, positioning a monitoring well borehole, installing an outer installation casing for pre-burying the monitoring well, installing a monitoring well positioning bracket, installing a monitoring well casing, installing monitoring well filter packs and seal materials, filling the trench with PRB media and capping with a covering soil layer, removing the outer installation casing, removing the trench side-wall support, completing the monitoring well with a wellhead, and conducting well development. This method avoids the complex procedure of re-drilling a borehole within the PRB media following the completion of PRB construction and media filling, assures that monitoring well installation protocols are followed and high quality and stable operation is achieved, and serves for groundwater monitoring to support the implementation and efficacy evaluation of the PRB technology.
