    Abstract: An exemplary modular building component disclosed herein includes at least three side walls connected to each other to form a frame structure having an open exterior end and an open interior end, in various aspects. Each of the side walls includes a mating inner structural wall and an outer pivoting wall, in various aspects. The structural wall and the pivoting wall each include a top end and a bottom end, wherein the pivoting wall bottom end is adapted to pivotably engage the structural wall bottom end, in various aspects. A tautened fabric material covers the frame structure exterior end and is secured to each pivoting wall, in various aspects. The fabric is tautened over the frame structure exterior end as each pivoting wall top end is pivoted into abutment with its mating structural wall top end, in various aspects. Related methods are disclosed.

    Abstract: A geodesic dome accessory having an accessory frame that utilizes a base frame and an upper frame. The base frame is attached to the frame of the geodesic dome on interior to the frame. The upper frame attaches to the base frame and secures the membrane of the geodesic dome between the upper frame and the base frame, providing a weather resistant or tight seal. The base frame forms an opening to access from the exterior of the dome to the interior. The upper frame can be in a variety of configurations, including a window, door, vent passage, or stove pipe passage. The structural framing of the dome can remain with the base frame in the shape of the opening between frame elements, such as a window, or the framing can be removed with the accessory base frame forming the structural support replacing the standard framing, such as a door.

    Abstract: The temporary homeless shelter comprises a reinforced concrete pipe, a rear wall, and a front door. The reinforced concrete pipe may be closed by the rear wall on one end and by the front door on the opposite end. The temporary homeless shelter may be adapted to protect a homeless person from the weather. Air may flow through the reinforced concrete pipe when one or more rear vents and one or more front vents are open. Heated water may be pumped through tubing incorporated into a pipe wall to heat the interior of the reinforced concrete pipe. A storage area located under a bed platform within the reinforced concrete pipe may be operable to store personal belongings.

    Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of home protection devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a home protection dome device primarily comprised of at least one motor that powers a dome structure. The dome structure is comprised of a plurality of curved members that enclose and shield a home, other structure or object. The curved members can be deployed and retracted via a track within a base, wherein the track is powered by a motor. The motor may further receive power from a solar panel. The motor may also be controlled by a control panel to move the track and deploy or retract the curved members over a home, structure, or object in an enclosed manner. In this manner, the home, structure, or object is protected from severe weather.
