Abstract: A soundproof building structure includes a first structure including a first floor, a first wall, and a first ceiling, each of which is concrete, a second structure inside the first structure and including a second floor having a vibration isolation structure on the first floor, a steel frame structure standing on the second floor apart from the first wall below the first ceiling, a second wall including a sound insulation board on an interior side of the frame structure, and a second ceiling including a sound insulation board on the interior side, and a third structure inside the second structure and including a detachable flat panel on an interior side of the second wall. An upper end of the panel fits into a rail fixed to a ceiling member of the frame structure, and a lower end of the panel fits into a rail fixed to the second floor.

The second side portion is spaced from the first side portion. The locking piece may be non-integral with the panel structure. The first and second side portions of the at least one locking piece may be insertable into one of the one or more insert locations to hold the panel structure together in the folded state.

Abstract: The present double walled grease duct includes a tubular outer shell surrounding a tubular inner liner, wherein a spacer is positioned perpendicular to the walls of the outer shell and the inner liner. The spacer can include a plurality of vertical metal strips extend from a top edge of the spacer to the bottom edge of the spacer, wherein the top edge of the spacer contacts the walls of the outer shell and wherein the bottom edge of the spacer contacts the walls of the inner liner. The metal strips resist the different rates of thermal expansion between the outer shell and inner liner ultimately preventing the collapse of the inner liner under pressure from thermal expansion.

Abstract: A framing assembly is disclosed including an acoustic framing arrangement and a plurality of tracks. The acoustic framing arrangement interconnects a top track with a bottom track. The acoustic framing arrangement includes a pair of studs positioned in back-to-back configuration and mechanically joined using a connector. The connector includes a vertical portion that extends between the pair of studs and a base portion that connects to the tracks. Abstract: A noise reduction apparatus can include a frame and multiple spaced apart panels positioned adjacent to each other. Each of the panels or only one of the spaced apart panel elements may have holes therein to receive acoustic waves for absorbing the waves between the panels. The panels can be attached to a frame or other connection structure so that the arrangement of panels can be hung over a work space or positioned in a work space (e.g. in a wall, formed as a partition or wall, included as part of shelving, etc.). The panels can also be incorporated into a light fixture that may hang from a ceiling or be attached to some other type of support (e.g. a table, a base, etc.). The panels can be composed of glass, wood, or other type of material.
