摘要: A liquid absorber is for absorbing and damping vibrations in structures, in particular in slender, vertically oriented structures. It is therefore an object to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a liquid absorber which lessens the sloshing effect of a fluid in the liquid absorber. A further object is to provide a liquid absorber which achieves an increase in the damping ratio for containers with sloshing lengths of more than 80 cm. A further object is to enable fine adjustments to be made with regard to the damping ratio and to develop a vibration absorber which has optimal damping properties (“Den Hartog”) and considerably improves the response behavior over a broad frequency spectrum.

摘要: A modular energy-dissipating fabricated structure for a transmission tower includes a base, two T-shaped beams, a vibration damping mechanism, a connection plate, and four supporting beams. The vibration damping mechanism slides to generate the damping force and energy dissipation. The larger the displacement of the vibration damping mechanism, the greater the damping force provided by the system. This effectively reduces vibration of an upper structure of the transmission tower, and lowers a probability of damaging the upper structure in a natural disaster. The modular energy-dissipating fabricated structure realizes hierarchical control under different loads. Under an action of a dynamic load such as a strong wind, a small sliding range of the vibration damping mechanism can realize vibration damping and energy dissipation purposes of the structure. When a strong dynamic load such as an earthquake is applied to the structure, the vibration damping mechanism reduces an impact on the structure.

摘要: An attachment device for securing a non-structural component of a building to a structural component of the building includes a non-structural component holder defining a receiving space configured to receive the non-structural component to couple the non-structural component to the attachment device. 摘要: A structure having limited supportable portions has been difficult to isolate from vibration in the direction in which a load is applied. A base isolation apparatus includes a Z-axis base isolation unit, an X-axis base isolation unit, and a Y-axis base isolation unit. The base isolation unit includes a vibration-source connector, an isolated-object connector, a lock device disposed between the isolated-object connector and the vibration-source connector for switching between a state of fixing the isolated-object connector and a state of making it movable, a distance recovery device for generating a force to cause an amount of change in distance to approach zero, depending on the amount of change, and a vibration damper for generating a force in an orientation of hindering the change, depending on the rate of change in distance.
