    摘要： In one aspect there is provided an insulated modular roof system for a roof structure. The system comprises a plurality of modular panels suitable for installation onto the roof structure and a water-proof membrane. Each of the plurality of modular panels comprises a first planar member, an insulating layer covering substantially all of the first planar member and a second planar member suitable to cover substantially all of the insulating layer. Preferably, the system further comprises a joint closure member and a joint fill material suitable to fill any empty space between any abutting modular panels. The water-proof membrane may be provided in sections on each of the plurality of modular panels.

    摘要： An applicator for roll roofing materials employs a frame with a support bar removably engaged on the frame. The support bar receives a roofing material roll. An application roller is supported from the frame in trailing engagement with a roofing surface. A take-up roller is supported by the frame onto which tear sheet from the roofing material roll is rolled. Wheels are attached to the frame and a drive system provides a drive pulley attached to a wheel, a driven pulley operationally attached to the take-up roller, and, a drive belt extending from the drive pulley to the driven pulley. The drive system is adapted for slippage upon the rolled tear sheet reaching a predetermined diameter.

    摘要： A convertible roof element includes a peripheral structure with an opening to be at least partially closed by a membrane, an edge rope and at least one guide rope forming a rope band tensioned against each other. The convertible roof element has a parking position and at least one shading position, the parking position running along the peripheral structure and the at least one shading position running across the opening of the peripheral structure. The edge rope is fixed at its ends via a first tensioning device to the peripheral structure. The at least one guide rope is secured to the edge rope at one end and at the other end to the peripheral structure by means of a further tensioning device. The tensile force of the further tensioning device is variable so that the edge rope is moveable from the parking position into the at least one shading position.

    摘要： The panelized roof sheathing construction system includes a plurality of panels attached to a building frame structure in substantially abutting relationship. Each panel includes a water resistant barrier layer secured atop the outward facing surface of the panel. The water resistant barrier layer includes a skid resistant surface. Joints between panels are sealed by strips of water resistant tape or the like. The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. A method for manufacturing the water resistant building panels is also disclosed and includes the steps of feeding a roll of paper onto a forming belt, depositing lignocellulosic material and the binding agent onto the forming belt so as to form a lignocellulosic mat, cutting the mat and paper into segments of predetermined lengths, transferring the segments onto a loading screen, subjecting the segments to heat and pressure so as to impart the skid resistant surface on the paper, and cutting the segments into panels of predetermined sizes. A method of drying-in a building using the panels of the invention is also contemplated.
