摘要: Embodiments may include a coated granule for roofing systems. The coated granule may include an aluminum silicate granule and a coating disposed on the aluminum silicate granule. The coating may include a copolymer and a siloxane-based or a silane-based compound. The copolymer may be a cationic fluorinated (meth)acrylic copolymer. The aluminum silicate granule may have a particle size in a range from 0.2 mm to 2.4 mm. The aluminum silicate granule may have a 65% or greater reflectivity. The coated granule may repel oil and maintain its reflectivity better than with other techniques.

摘要: A device for draining a liquid from a first film layer which forms at least one part of a building cladding element. A first valve element can be arranged in the region of a first opening of the first film layer such that the valve element can be pivoted between a first position, which closes the first opening, and a second position, which at least partly releases the first opening. Additionally, a first opening and closing are configured to keep the first valve element in the first position if pressure of a liquid is less than or equal to a threshold, allow the first valve element to pivot from the first position to the second position if the pressure of the liquid exceeds the threshold, and pivot the first valve element from the second position to the first position if the pressure is substantially no longer present.

摘要: During installation of a single-ply roofing membrane, the surface of the membrane can be protected from dirt, scratches and scrapes by a protective sheet which also provides other beneficial attributes that aid an installer. A roof laminate includes a roof membrane and a protective sheet is removably affixed thereto. The sheet includes at least a first layer directly secured to a second layer. The first layer provides at least one of UV protection, anti-slip, and anti-glare to the roof laminate and so aids the installer in at least one of those respects. The second layer is removably affixed to the roof membrane.
