摘要： A batten bar is configured to secure first and second adjacent flat panels to a structural framework. The batten bar includes first and second inside legs, first and second outside legs, and a plurality of apertures disposed along the length of the batten bar. The first and second inside legs define a central channel. The first outside leg and the first inside leg define a first seal recess configured to receive and retain a first seal. The second outside leg and the second inside leg define a second seal recess configured to receive and retain a second seal. In an installed configuration, the first inside leg and the first outside leg are configured to contact the first flat panel along a first common plane, and the second inside leg and second outside leg contact the second panel along a second common plane.

摘要： A ridge ventilator for covering an open ridge of a roof while promoting ventilation of a space beneath the roof. The ridge ventilator has a sectional body having a first side and a second side, a number of partitions extending across said body between said sides, as well as a first end and a second end. The vent body has a width between said sides to permit said body to be laid over and cover an open ridge in a roof formed at the peak. The body also includes a recessed middle portion in a top face of the body, the recess being sized and shaped to accommodate roofing cap shingles. The body also includes opposed raised and curved, in side view, air foil side sections; which have a grill to permit air to pass therethrough between a space beneath said roof and the outside, the air foil side sections being sized and shaped to create, in a wind passing over the air foil sections, a low pressure adjacent to the grill to facilitate drawing air out of the space.

摘要： A concrete container for introducing concrete into formworks includes an upwardly open vessel with a downwardly narrowing bottom portion with an outlet opening and a flexible pipe connected to the outlet opening for distributing the concrete. Underneath the outlet opening of the concrete container, an essentially horizontally extending crossbeam is arranged, wherein the crossbeam is arranged so as to be displaceable transversely of the freely suspended flexible pipe. The two ends of the crossbeam, whose length corresponds at least to the diameter of the flexible pipe, are suspended from the concrete container by connecting members. Tension springs are attached in an articulated manner to the two ends of the crossbeam, wherein the other ends of the tension springs are fastened to the support frame, wherein the tension springs are tensioned when the crossbeam is located laterally of the outlet opening in a position releasing the flexible pipe. An adjusting member is connected in an articulated manner to the crossbeam, wherein the other end of the adjusting member is connected to the support frame of the concrete container, wherein the adjusting member serves to move the crossbeam against the force of the tension springs transversely of the flexible pipe.

摘要： A detachable panel or grill for covering an opening in panelling of a wall or ceiling or in an appliance. The panel can be installed quickly and rigidly without the need for any special framing. The panel or grill can be installed or removed by the rotation of a single screw which passes through a threaded opening in an elongate fastening arm. The arm extends generally parallel to an inner surface of the panel during use thereof. The arm is pivotable relative to the panel between a first position usable for insertion of the arm into the opening and a second position used for clamping the panel to edge structure defining the opening. A slideway is connected to an inner surface of the panel and limits the extent of pivotal movement of the arm. The screw extends through a hole in the panel and connects the arm to the panel. A spring biases the arm so that it pivots towards the second position. In this position the arm travels transversely towards the inner surface of the panel when the screw is turned in one direction. Rotation of the screw in the opposite direction loosens the panel and enables removal thereof from the opening.

摘要： The discharge spout of a grain elevator is provided with an abrasion resistant liner formed of polyurethane. The liner is formed into cylindrical configuration from a rectangular blade of material and may be readily inserted into the discharge spout and rotated relative thereto to permit even wearing of the liner. The abrasion resistant liner may be readily removed from the discharge spout and replaced with another liner to thereby eliminate any wear to the inner surface of the discharge spout.
