    摘要： The present invention relates to a mounting arrangement for fastening a shaft in a locking device, the mounting arrangement (1) comprising—a shaft (2) for insertion into a handle follower of a locking device; —a locking member (33) for fixating the shaft after insertion to prevent undesired removal from the handle follower, and—a release member (32) for releasing the locking member to enable desired removal of the shaft from the handle follower, wherein the locking member (33) is movable between a locking position for fixating the shaft in the handle follower and a release position, and wherein the release member (32) is operatively connected to the locking member for moving the locking member from the locking position to the release position. The device includes a hub defining a central opening about an axis of rotation and a spindle with a first end adapted to be received in the opening in the hub to apply rotational force to the hub. A securing element is moveable between a first position in which the securing element engages the spindle and the spindle is secured to the hub, and a second position in which the securing element is disengaged from the spindle and the spindle may be freely removed from the opening in the first hub. The securing element may be adapted for reciprocal linear movement in the housing, and may engage the first spindle by part of the securing element being received in a peripheral groove in the spindle.

    摘要： A retainer apparatus including a retainer clip having a back component, a pair of side plate components, and a pair of front plate components that hold a retractor mechanism for extending and retracting a latch of a lock assembly. The retainer apparatus allows the retractor mechanism to be pre-assembled, ready for connection to a pre-assembled chassis of the lock assembly. One embodiment of the retainer clip is a single formed piece having a back component with at least one post for supporting a spring, side components to provide a bearing surface to slide the retractor mechanism, and front components angled inward to retain the retractor mechanism and the latch. A plurality of prongs extend from the retainer clip to receive the chassis of the lock assembly.
