    Abstract: The invention relates to a locking device (1) for a door, in particular for a sliding door (10), comprising at least one door leaf (11). The locking device has a housing part (2) and a locking element (5) which is held by the housing part (2) and which is used to lock and unlock the at least one door leaf (11) in a closed or open position. The locking element (5) can be slid along a sliding direction (V) and can be tilted about a rotational axis (R1) relative to the housing part (2) in order to allow the at least one door leaf (11) to be locked and unlocked alternatively by both sliding as well as by tilting the locking element (5). The invention additionally relates to a door, in particular a sliding door (10), comprising such a locking device (1).

    Abstract: Disclosed is a gate latch assembly comprising a gate latch cable including a pull loop on a first end of the cable, and a fitting on a second end of the cable, opposite the first end. In certain embodiments, the fitting is made from a zinc, zinc alloy, and/or aluminum which is die cast onto the second end of the cable and is configured to engage a gate latch and to maintain an alignment with a gate latch and/or pull loop such that a pull force on the cable is at an optimal alignment with the moment arm of the gate lock hook. In some embodiments, the end of the cable onto which the fitting material is die cast may be frayed.

    Abstract: A latch mechanism having a latch apparatus that is pivotally displaced about a latch axis and a cam device is that pivotally displaced along a transverse cam axis. The cam device is configured to operably engage the latch apparatus so as to at least assist in securing the latch apparatus in a locked position. When the latch apparatus is to be displaced to an unlocked position, the cam device may be pivoted about the transverse cam axis to a position in which the cam device does not impede with the pivotal displacement of the latch apparatus. The latch apparatus may also be configured to prevent the pivotal displacement of the cam device when the latch apparatus is in the unlocked position. According to other embodiments, the latch apparatus may be pivotally displaced about a transverse latch axis by the displacement of a latch link.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a device for centrally arranging locks for doors of a gaming machine's housing. The device including remote locking units of which each remote locking unit is assigned one or more locks and includes a remote power transmission unit, a displaceable unit operatively coupled to a first end of the remote power transmission unit, and a locking member operatively coupled to a second end of the remote power transmission unit. Each lock includes a blocking member. The remote power transmission unit transmits a displacement of the displaceable unit from the first to the second position such that the locking member releases a latching mechanism of a door whereas the locking member locks the latching mechanism when the displaceable unit is in the first position.

    Abstract: A security apparatus for a portable electronic device includes a force-transmission member having a length, a first end, and a second end. A lock head is coupled to the first end of the force-transmission member, the lock head configured to selectively engage the electronic device and movable by the force-transmission member between a locked position, in which the lock head is secured to the electronic device, and an unlocked position, in which the lock head is unsecured from the electronic device. An actuator assembly is spaced a distance from the lock head along the length of the force-transmission member. The actuator assembly includes a body and a manual actuator pivotally coupled to the body, the manual actuator being pivotable from a first position to a second position to move the movable member relative to the body such that the lock head moves from the unlocked position to the locked position.
