    摘要: An advanced driving assistance system (ADAS)-linked active hood apparatus for always-on operation is provided. The apparatus includes a rotary arm that is fixed to a hood of a vehicle, a stationary bracket fixed to a vehicle body, and a rotary bracket that rotates upward and downward by applied rotation force. A first link interconnects the rotary bracket and the stationary bracket. A motor unit is integrally connected to the rotary arm and applies driving force to the rotary bracket. A controller receives driving information of the vehicle via an ADAS and sets a pop-up height of the hood. The motor unit then performs pop-up and restoration of the hood when a collision is expected based on the received driving information.

    摘要: A roof support system includes a support member configured to be mounted between a roof panel and a frame of an enclosure. The support member is movable to an extended position that supports the roof panel in an open position. A cam lock mechanism is operatively connected to the support member for releasably locking the support member in the extended position. In the extended position, a pin of the support member is received within a slot of the cam lock mechanism such that engagement of the pin with a closed end of the slot prevents the support member from moving from the extended position toward a retracted position. The cam lock mechanism includes a cam configured to rotate to a locking position that at least partially blocks an open end of the slot such that the pin of the support member is prevented from backing out of the slot.

The device is self-locating by aligning the bottom end of each sub-assembly with physical features of the window. This saves time and effort in installation by not requiring any measurements to ensure that an engaging feature of the limiting arm of the device is aligned with an engaging feature of the frame sub-assembly so that the device properly reengages upon closing of the sash after release. Also, operation of the release of the travel limiting arm is intuitive, requiring only pressing in on a latch button and sliding it upwardly to effect release.

    摘要: A check and release mechanism for holding a door in a desired opened position against the force of a closing cylinder which is separate but alongside a door closing actuator which acts to close the door upon its release, the catch and release mechanism includes a catch and release operator rod separate from an actuator operator rod and parallel thereto moved, the door catch and release operating rod has a latch element pivotally mounted to one side of the catch and release operator rod and is moved along a guide slot in a catch and release mechanism case, by continued opening movement of the door into an enlarged engagement chamber in the case, and the leading end of the latch element engages a first fixed feature therein at the approximate location where it is desired to hold the door open. That engagement causes a slight tilting of the latch element and stops further opening advance of the door and operating rod. A slight retraction of the door and the catch and release operating rod causes a trailing end of the tilted latch element to engage a second fixed feature in the chamber which causes the latch element to tilt further in the same direction preventing further closing movement of the door. The engagement of the latch element with the second fixed feature is released by manually moving the door back in the opening direction, causing one side of the tilted latch element to engage the first fixed feature to tilt the latch element further, and upon release the door again moves in the closing direction and the opposite side of the latch element then contacts the second fixed feature be pivoted so as to again be in alignment with the guide slot, allowing the door to close with the latch element advancing down the guide slot.

    摘要: An automatic door stopping-closing device comprises a cylinder with a connecting rod, one end of which is connected to a door; a bracket assembly on the door frame, comprising a hook connected with the other end of the rod, a movable lug cooperated with the hook, and a pull rod cooperated with the movable lug, wherein the pull rod and the hook can be engaged or disengaged. After the door is opened, the door can be kept open securely through the cooperation between the hook and the movable lug; and the door can be closed automatically by a slight push, through the cooperation between two of the hook, the movable lug and the pull rod. The automatic door stopping-closing device holds the door open without external force after the door is opened, and closes the door automatically after a slight push.

    摘要: A cooking machine includes a housing having side walls with doors that can be raised and lowered to vent the cooking chamber defined within the housing. A latching member is pivotally mounted on a channel member guiding the doors, and can be pivoted manually into a position in which it engages the bottom surface of the door thereby retaining the door in the upward most position. When the door is to be lowered, the latching member is pivoted to a position by gravity which pivots the latching member out of the line of travel of the door.     摘要: An arresting device for a hinged component such as a window or roof hatch of a motor vehicle has a peg mounted to a first member, which in turn is pivotally mounted to the hinged component or to the frame for the hinged component. A guide rail is pivotally mounted to the other one of the frame or the hinged component and has a slot in which the peg slides. A gate is slidably mounted to the guide rail and also has a slot in which the peg slides. The slots in the guide rail and the gate each have at least one recess formed in their sides which are selectively alignable such that the peg can move into the aligned recesses. At least the recess on the guide rail has a notch formed at one end to positively hold the peg. Preferably, the gate and/or guide rail are spring biased so that the peg will move into the recesses when they are aligned. When the recesses are not aligned, the side of the slot on the gate covers the recess on the guide rail, and vice-versa, preventing the peg from moving into the recesses. The guide rail, gate and their respective slots are sized such that the recesses will align when one end of the slots are aligned, but will not align when the other end of the slots are aligned. Opening and closing of the hinged component will move the peg to engage the ends of the gate slot to push it into or out of alignment. Thus, no direct manipulation of the arresting mechanism is required to move the recesses into and out of alignment.

    摘要: A door closer is set forth having a housing, a plunger rod in the housing with a plunger at the inner end of the rod, and a main spring around the rod between the plunger and a housing end for urging the rod into the housing. An actuator carried at the housing end with an opening for the rod and mounted for transverse sliding motion relative to the rod, with a spring for urging the actuator into a latch space in the rod is utilized. With the door closer connected to a door, the actuator slides into the latch space when the door has been opened, to hold the door open. A further opening movement raises the actuator out of the latch space and a sleeve maintains the actuator raised, permitting closing of the door.

    摘要: A gas spring comprising a cylinder, a rod slidably extending from the cylinder, and a novel locking mechanism. The mechanism comprises first and second axially contiguous recesses in the circumference of the rod, a locking member normally located in the first recess and snappingly and rockingly movable between two recesses, and axially spaced first and second actuating members cooperating with the locking member. The first actuating member comprises an engaging portion and a releasing portion being circumferentially spaced therefrom. The releasing portion acts to displace the locking member to the second recess. The second actuating member comprises an engaging portion for locking the rod and also for displacing the locking member to the first recess, and axially and circumferentially inclined guide walls for circumferentially displacing the locking member thereby guiding the same between the releasing portion and engaging portions in response to the movement of the rod.
