    摘要: An article of manufacture for an earthquake safety protection device (ESPD) according to the present invention is disclosed. The ESPD consists of an earthquake support pole and mating support members to create survivable space around the support pole should a room be damaged in an earthquake. The ESPD may also comprise a reinforced frame within an interior door of a building. The reinforced frame resists damage from an earthquake that may prevent the interior door from opening. Opening or removal of the inner door protected by the reinforced frame creates a means of safely exiting a room in spite of damage to the interior door and its corresponding door frame. The ESPD may also include a mechanism to prevent a mobile hospital bed from moving about a room during an earthquake.

Therefore, the door frame structure 1 does not follow relative story displacement of the wall surface 4 caused by lateral vibration in the event of an earthquake, so that deformation of the door frame structure 1 is minimized, and a door 31 can be opened and closed even in an emergency.

    摘要: The building section comprises a wall and a peripheral window case, into which a window frame is inserted. The window case comprises several support sections arranged a certain distance apart and standing laterally out from the wall, each support section comprising a support part and an insulating part. The first leg of the support part is screwed to the wall, whereas the window frame is screwed to the second leg of the support part. The insulating part surrounds three sides of the second leg of the support part. In the areas between the support sections, the window case comprises insulating sections. The insulating parts of the support sections and the insulating sections bring about a substantially continuous insulation of the window frame around the window case.
