摘要： A door system includes a door jamb, a door panel including a box disposed therealong, a hinge coupling an edge of the door panel to the door jamb, a flexible conduit extending from the door jamb to the edge of the door panel, and a plurality of electronic components. The flexible conduit is configured to facilitate electrically coupling one or more of the plurality of electronic components to an external power source. The plurality of electronic components include a camera disposed within the box, a light integrated into the door jam, a sensor configured to facilitate detecting at least one of sound or activity proximate the door panel, and a backup battery disposed within at least one of the door jamb or the door panel. The backup battery is configured to power at least one of the plurality of electronic components during power loss from the external power source.

摘要： A garage door mountable storage assembly for increasing storage capacity of a garage includes a first connector, a first coupler, and a retaining unit. The first connector and the first coupler are mountable to a panel of a garage door so that an imaginary line extending therebetween is substantially perpendicular to upper and lower limits of the panel. The retaining unit has engaged thereto a second connector and a second coupler, which are complementary to the first connector and the first coupler, respectively. The second connector and the second coupler are positioned to selectively engage the first connector and the first coupler to removably engage the retaining unit to the panel of the garage door. The retaining unit can be positioned around an article, with the retaining unit extending between the first connector and the first coupler, to removably secure the article to the panel of the garage door.

摘要： An impact-resistant, photovoltaic (IRPV) window system is provided. The system may include an IRPV window coupled to a structure, a controller, and an insurance computing device. The IRPV window may include an impact resistant (IR) layer, a photovoltaic (PV) material that may generate an electrical output, and an electrode coupled to the PV material that may receive the electrical output. The IRPV window may permit a portion of visible light to pass through the IRPV window. The controller may monitor the electrical output and generate a solar profile of the structure based upon the electrical output. The insurance computing device may receive the solar profile and determine if an insurance policy associated with the structure is eligible for a policy adjustment and/or an insurance reward or discount offer.

摘要： A removable window includes a frame on the wall that allows the window to be mounted firmly without any gaps between the frame and the window. The frame on the wall can include a rotating locking mechanism that helps secure the removable modules on the wall and prevents the window to be inadvertently knocked down under any unwanted situations. The window can be fitted on the wall by pushing the removable window module into the frame, and the window module can be locked on the wall. When the window module is removed, several different wall modules can be mounted onto the frame. Such wall modules can not only serve as enclosed walls, but can also provide additional functionalities. This effectively allows users to freely move their windows around the house and switch their windows with other walls to change the overall window layout.
