摘要: A riser system in the form of a pumped riser, i.e. a riser having an outlet from the riser at a depth below the surface of a body of water, where the outlet is coupled to a return pump to return fluid from the riser to the surface, and various operational methods to facilitate greater versatility when performing hydrocarbon drilling related operations. A sealing element to seal an annulus of the riser, and a by-pass around the sealing element. Various methods make it possible to switch between open mode and closed mode, and vice versa, monitoring leakage across the sealing element, as well as performing other operations exploiting the advantages of the two different modes.

摘要: An in-riser communication system includes a riser extending from a surface facility to a subsea wellhead, a communication tool installed on a tool string, wherein the tool string is disposed in the riser, a repeater positioned on an exterior of the riser, a remote operated vehicle (ROV), and a computer system operatively connected to the ROV. When the communication tool and the repeater are positioned in proximity to one another, data is transferred from the communication tool, to the repeater, then to the ROV, and then to the computer system for processing.

The riser clamp includes at least one body portion which is arrangeable to form a clamp body which is substantially circular or partially circular, and a pipe saddle part. The clamp body encircles a clamp axis. The at least one body portion has an external surface which faces radially outwards and an internal surface which faces radially inwards. The pipe saddle part is provided to be separate and substantially planar, and is arranged to extend radially outwardly from the clamp body.

摘要: The present invention pertains to the technical field of oil and gas; more specifically to the field of risers and flow line connections to offshore structures, and describes a pull-in cable deflector system in keelhauling of rigid risers comprising: a deflector assembly including a deflector device housed in a structural block, a sliding structure, at least two rails. The deflector device installed in the structural block is moved through a sliding structure on rails installed forward of the URB to the different pull-in or pull-out positions in keelhauling of rigid risers. The structural block is slidably mounted on a base frame by means of a system of sliding supports to perform a first adjustment of the transverse distance from the deflector device to the URB. The deflector device is then rotated around the vertical line depending on the azimuth of the support tube. A second adjustment of the transverse distance of the deflector device is performed during the pull-in operation.

The integrated current load may be used to estimate the wellhead fatigue damage rate at that moment in time. 摘要: An improved swivel with increased sealing capability at fluid pressures up to 20 ksi and at fluid temperatures as high as 250° F. and as low as 35° F. The swivel may be relatively compact, being less than 8 feet in overall length and can operate unpressurized with axial loads of at high as 1,400,000 lbs. The swivel may comprise a swivel mandrel rotationally coupled with a swivel housing. Rotational bearings units can be securely held using cartridge carriers. A pressure seal may be formed between the swivel mandrel and swivel housing via a redundant seal stack.
