    摘要: A riser system in the form of a pumped riser, i.e. a riser having an outlet from the riser at a depth below the surface of a body of water, where the outlet is coupled to a return pump to return fluid from the riser to the surface, and various operational methods to facilitate greater versatility when performing hydrocarbon drilling related operations. A sealing element to seal an annulus of the riser, and a by-pass around the sealing element. Various methods make it possible to switch between open mode and closed mode, and vice versa, monitoring leakage across the sealing element, as well as performing other operations exploiting the advantages of the two different modes.

The clamp body encircles a clamp axis. The at least one body portion has an external surface which faces radially outwards and an internal surface which faces radially inwards. The pipe saddle part is provided to be separate and substantially planar, and is arranged to extend radially outwardly from the clamp body.

    摘要: An improved swivel with increased sealing capability at fluid pressures up to 20 ksi and at fluid temperatures as high as 250° F. and as low as 35° F. The swivel may be relatively compact, being less than 8 feet in overall length and can operate unpressurized with axial loads of at high as 1,400,000 lbs. The swivel may comprise a swivel mandrel rotationally coupled with a swivel housing. Rotational bearings units can be securely held using cartridge carriers. A pressure seal may be formed between the swivel mandrel and swivel housing via a redundant seal stack.
