摘要: A crown plug for a tree of an oil/gas well/wellhead has a securement arrangement for securing the crown plug within the tree. The main body of the crown plug comprises a solid body creating the barrier within the production bore. The solid body creates a robust, strong and reliable barrier. The crown plug is retained within the outer member through inward distortion which secures the crown plug. The securement arrangement arises from an inward radial force that distorts the outer member inwardly to grip a component located within the outer member. The outer member elastically deforms and the outer member returns to a released position once the clamping force is released. Two concentric oppositely arranged tapered surfaces move axially to create the inwardly directed force. The clamping force and the solid body together provide an improved crown plug which is easy and reliable to operate.

摘要: A double-channel fluid injection apparatus includes a main shaft, a bearing box, and a sealing box. The main shaft includes an outer tube and an inner tube. An internal channel of the inner tube and a vertical through channel constitute a first fluid passageway. The inner tube and the outer tube form an annular gap, and a channel D is radially formed at a lower part of the outer tube and is in communication with the annular gap, thus constituting a second fluid passageway. The bearing box is mounted on a boss of the outer tube. The sealing box includes a sealing cylinder fixedly connected to a lower end of a lower end cap of the bearing box. A channel E in communication with the second fluid passageway is radially formed at a position of the sealing cylinder corresponding to the channel of the outer tube.

摘要: An apparatus includes a sensor for sensing pressure, temperature, or another physical parameter at a wellhead assembly or other oilfield component. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a wellhead body and a branch assembly coupled to the wellhead body such that a bore of the branch assembly is in fluid communication with an interior of the wellhead body through an access passage of the wellhead body. The branch assembly includes a penetration extending outwardly from the bore to an exterior surface of the branch assembly that is radially outward of the bore, and a sensor is installed in the penetration of the branch assembly. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

摘要: Systems and methods for landing a tubing hanger in a wellhead and then orienting a tree (or spool, or flowline connection body) relative to the tubing hanger while landing the tree on the wellhead are provided. This alignment is accomplished without the use of either a tubing spool or a BOP stack with an orientation pin. The tubing hanger alignment devices may be used to orientate the tree as the tree is landed so that the couplings and stabs between the tree and the tubing hanger line up with each other just at the moment of landing.

摘要: The invention provides a managed pressure drilling system. The system comprises a rotating sealing device and a drill string assembly comprising a plurality of drill pipe members. Each drill pipe member has a first tool joint having a first tool joint outer diameter; a second tool joint having a second tool joint outer diameter; and a tubular body between the first and second tool joints having a tubular body outer diameter. In at least one section of the drill string the first tool joint outer diameter, the second tool joint outer diameter and the tubular body outer diameter are substantially the same. The rotating sealing device is configured to form a fluid seal against at least a part of the at least one section of drill string.

摘要: A hydrocarbon extraction system that includes an erosion control system. The erosion control system includes a housing defining a first inlet, a second inlet, and an outlet. The housing receives and directs a flow of a particulate laden fluid between the first inlet and the outlet. A conduit rests within the housing. The conduit changes a direction of the particulate laden fluid and reduces erosion of the housing. The conduit is inserted into the housing through the second inlet. The conduit defines a plurality of apertures between an exterior surface and an interior surface of the conduit. The apertures direct the fluid into a conduit cavity. The conduit guides the fluid entering the conduit cavity to the outlet. The erosion control system excludes a plug and/or a sleeve around or in the conduit.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to spool assembly implementations and related methods for fluidly connecting wellheads. In one implementation, a spool assembly for fluidly connecting wellheads includes a first end flange, a second end flange, and one or more pivotable connections positioned between the first end flange and the second end flange. Each respective pivotable connection of the one or more pivotable connections includes a connection tubular having an outer spherical surface, and a bearing tubular having a spherical end disposed about the outer spherical surface of the connection tubular. Each respective pivotable connection of the one or more pivotable connections includes a socket flange tubular disposed about the spherical end of the bearing tubular, and a shoulder flange tubular disposed about an outer shoulder of the connection tubular. The shoulder flange tubular is coupled to the socket flange tubular.

The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.
