摘要： Embodiments are directed to a power system for generating mechanical energy from input electrical energy. The system includes a liquid tank configured to house fluid and communicate with a fluid compressor and an evaporator, a fluid compressor configured to compress the fluid to a higher-pressure state, a fluid pump configured to receive fluid from the condenser and convert kinetic energy from the fluid to mechanical energy, and a suction fan configured to blow air between the evaporator and condenser. The evaporator changes the fluid's state from a liquid to a gas. The condenser changes the fluid's state from a gas to a liquid. The system includes an accumulator tank to hold the fluid from the condenser, a piping network that communicates the fluid between the components, an enclosure that houses the components of the power system, and a power supply that delivers electricity to the fluid compressor and electric components.

The tightening ring may be tightened such that the axial ring and the tightening ring exert a clamping force on a drive housing, which secures the displacement pump to the drive housing. The tightening ring may receive a projection extending from the drive housing to provide structural support to the drive housing.

The heat exchanger comprises a passage containing a heat exchange fluid. The heat exchange fluid may add heat to or remove heat from a gas being expanded or compressed. Embodiments may provide isothermal or near isothermal compression or expansion.

摘要： Embodiments are described for engaging a pumping cartridge with a pump drive. In certain embodiments, the cartridge, including a cylinder and a movable piston assembly, is initially assembled or subsequently positioned so that the distance between the attachment point on the piston assembly for coupling to a drive assembly, and a reference point on the cylinder, is greater than the maximal distance that will be encountered during normal oscillation of the piston during use. The cartridge, in certain embodiments, may be pressed into a drive assembly that immobilizes the cartridge and couples the piston assembly to the driveshaft. In certain embodiments, when the cartridge is fully inserted into the drive assembly, the piston is pressed into the cylinder sufficiently to establish a selected distance so that the piston shaft is in the proper position to engage with a coupling mechanism carried on the driveshaft.

摘要： A fuel gallery has a first opening port communicated to a variable volume chamber formed at a lower side of a plunger and a second opening port communicated to a fuel pressurizing chamber formed at an upper side of the plunger. A connecting tube member is provided in the fuel gallery for communicating the first and second opening ports with each other. During a fuel amount adjusting stroke, for example, in which the plunger is moved in an upward direction, a part of excessive fuel from the fuel pressurizing chamber is supplied to the variable volume chamber through the connecting tube member and the remaining part of the excessive fuel is discharged from the connecting tube member into the fuel gallery through a communication through-hole formed in the connecting tube member.
