    摘要: The present invention provides a method for producing a hollow engine valve, with which the production process can be simplified and the processing precision can be improved. To this end, the present invention provides a method for producing a hollow engine valve (1) which is provided with a valve main body (10) in which a hollow hole (10c) is formed along a valve umbrella part (10a) and a hollow shaft part (10b), wherein a solid round bar (11) forming the material of the valve main body (10) is molded to a semi-finished article (12) by means of a single hot-forging process, the semi-finished article (12) is subjected to rotary swaging whereby the semi-finished article (12) is molded into a semi-finished article (13), the semi-finished article (13) is subjected to necking whereby the semi-finished article (13) is molded into the valve main body (10), and a shaft end sealing member (20) is joined to the end part of the hollow shaft part (10b) of the valve main body (10).

    摘要: A flow controller for an engine cooling system is disclosed and claimed. The flow controller includes a housing and a valve. The housing defines a first entrance, a second entrance, and an exit. A main coolant flow path is defined by the first entrance with the exit, and a bypass coolant flow path is defined by the second entrance with the exit. The first entrance is adapted to be connected to the cooler, the second entrance is adapted to be connected to the engine bypass port, and the exit is adapted to be connected to the pump. With the valve closed, the main flow path is blocked; that is, coolant from the cooler and/or reservoir is prevented from entering the pump.

    摘要: An engine valve comprises an elongated stem having a head secured on an end thereof. A tube is disposed in the stem to terminate at an outlet to communicate a liquid coolant, such as oil, to an annular chamber defined in the head. An agitator ring is loosely mounted in the chamber for moving therein during valve operation. A plurality of circumferentially disposed and radially extending ribs are preferably secured between the head and a cap secured thereon to define a plurality of inlet and outlet passageways therebetween.

Also, a first wall portion of the wall extends between the first sealing register and an exhaust valve seat configured to receive a valve head of the exhaust valve, and a second wall portion of the wall extends from the first sealing register away from the first wall portion.
