摘要: An apparatus and method for sensing the position of a piston in a valve in a gas compressor or the position of a piston in a free piston engine. The apparatus includes a plurality of valve sensors, a plurality of magnets, and a plurality of valve sense modules coupled to the valve sensors and a controller coupled to the plurality of valve sense modules. The method includes processing information received from the valve sensors to determine the linear position of the valves in the gas compressor or a piston in a free piston engine.

摘要: A throttle control system for a vehicle includes a controller comprising at least one processor and at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium, a throttle valve movable between valve positions, an input sensor to transmit a target position, and a position sensor configured to detect an instantaneous disposition of the throttle valve at one of the valve positions. The controller executes instructions stored in the at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium. The controller receives the target position signal and the detected position signal. The processor compares the target position signal and the detected position signal to the instructions, selects an output signal, and transmits the output signal to the throttle valve. A first fuzzy control acceleration, a brake deceleration, and a second fuzzy control acceleration based on the output signal are applied to move of the throttle valve toward the target position.

摘要: There is provided a blade angle feedback system for an aircraft-bladed rotor rotatable about a longitudinal axis and having an adjustable blade pitch angle. A feedback device is coupled to rotate with the rotor and to move along the axis with adjustment of the blade pitch angle. The feedback device comprises a body having position marker(s) embedded therein, the body made of a first material having a first magnetic permeability and the position marker(s) comprising a second material having a second magnetic permeability greater than the first. Sensor(s) are positioned adjacent the feedback device and configured for producing, as the feedback device rotates about the axis, sensor signal(s) in response to detecting passage of the position marker(s). A control unit is communicatively coupled to the sensor(s) and configured to generate a feedback signal indicative of the blade pitch angle in response to the sensor signal(s) received from the sensor(s).

摘要: A system includes a control circuit and an adjustable low-pass filter. The control circuit is configured to receive an input signal and to control at least one engine output based on the input signal. The adjustable low-pass filter receives the input signal, and filters the input signal prior to forwarding the input signal to the control circuit. The adjustable low-pass filter has a first setting in which the adjustable low-pass filter has a first cut-off frequency and a second setting in which the adjustable low-pass filter has a second cut-off frequency. The first setting configures the control circuit to be used with a first sensor having a first dynamic range and the second setting configures the control circuit to be used with a second sensor having a second dynamic range.

摘要: A system and method for dynamically deactivating engine cylinders of an engine equipped with a cylinder deactivation system, where the system and method control torsional vibration in the engine while deactivating cylinders using a computer programed with a desired firing density and a controlled range of engine vibration frequencies. The computer dynamically determines a cylinder firing pattern that provides the desired firing density while optimizing a cost function norm in the controlled range of engine vibration frequencies. The cylinder deactivation system in the engine is then controlled using the determined cylinder firing pattern.
