Abstract: A flow control restrictor includes: a needle valve; and a limit cap which is made of metal and attached to the needle valve. In the needle valve, a first shaft portion which is made of metal and screwed into a regulation hole and a second shaft portion which is made of metal and housed inside the regulation hole are formed. On the second shaft portion, a first projection-and-recess portion is formed, and a pressed portion made of resin is provided on the first shaft portion side relative to the first projection-and-recess portion. The limit cap is fitted onto the second shaft portion. On the limit cap, a projecting portion which is inserted into a restriction groove of the regulation hole and a second projection-and-recess portion which is engaged with the first projection-and-recess portion are formed. The pressed portion is pressed against an inner peripheral surface of the limit cap.

Abstract: In at least some implementations, a limiter cap assembly for a carburetor having a cavity in which one or more adjustable valves are received, includes a plug adapted to be received within a cavity of the carburetor and having an opening and a cavity aligned with the opening, a clasp engageable with the plug and having at least one retention feature and an opening aligned with the opening of the plug, and a limiter cap received within the opening of the plug and engaged with the retention feature of the clasp. Removal of the limiter cap from the plug opening is prevented by engagement of the retention feature with the limiter cap and by engagement of the clasp with the plug.

In the present utility model, the flow and opening of the carburetor can only be adjusted using a special tool by changing the structure of the idle oil needle and the flow adjusting nail, which can effectively avoid the problem that the state of the carburetor is adjusted by users by using a common screwdriver, which causes the engine to fail to work normally or even be damaged due to improper adjustment, thus resulting in unnecessary after-sales service work, guaranteeing that the state as delivered is not easy to be freely adjusted by users, thus effectively ensuring the low emission value.

Abstract: A carburetor valve and limiter cap assembly for limiting adjustment of fuel flow in a carburetor may include a needle valve and a limiter cap. The needle valve may have a tip, a threaded portion, a head having a flange with an outer diameter greater than the rest of the head, and one or more serrations formed on the head. The limiter cap may have a sidewall, a tab extending outwardly from the sidewall, a first cavity having an inner diameter sized for an interference fit with the flange, and at least one driving feature to engage at least one serration so that rotation of the limiter cap causes rotation of the needle valve. The interference fit between the flange and the limiter cap inhibits removal of the limiter cap from the needle valve to prevent undesired adjustment of the needle valves by an end user.
