The gas injector includes a solenoid actuator including an armature, an internal pole, and a coil; a closure element which opens and closes a gas path on a valve seat, the armature being connected to the closure element; a closed lubricant chamber filled with a lubricant and in which the armature is arranged, the lubricant ensuring the armature is lubricated; a flexible sealing element sealing the lubricant chamber in relation to the gas path, and a braking device which is arranged in the lubricant chamber and is configured to brake the closure element during a process of restoring the gas injector from the open into the closed state. The braking device has a brake pin, a damping chamber that is filled with lubricant and is in fluid communication with the lubricant chamber, and a resilient brake element.

    摘要: A shuttle valve for a control valve coupled to an electronic fuel injector is disclosed. The shuttle valve may include a shuttle valve first end including an armature attachment portion operably coupled to an armature of the control valve and a shuttle valve second end opposite the shuttle valve first end defining a sealing portion of the control valve including an annular sealing surface. A valve guide portion may extend axially along a portion of the shuttle valve between the first and second ends. Furthermore, an engagement surface portion may be defined along the valve guide portion that is slidably engaged with a valve bore. Moreover, the shuttle valve may include a non-engagement surface portion defined along the valve guide portion, wherein the non-engagement surface is a non-continuous surface around a circumference of the valve guide portion and wherein the non-engagement surface is interspersed between portions of the engagement surface.

    摘要: A method to prevent generation of impact noise caused by an armature contacting a stopper due to a return spring and damage of the armature and a stopper without adding a part. Excitation of an electromagnetic coil 4 causes an armature 9 at a standby position to move in a plunger 7 direction so as to move the plunger 7 inserted in a pressurizing chamber 3 in a tip end direction against a return spring 8 to a level such that fuel is not injected from an injection nozzle 2. Fuel supplied from a fuel tank to the pressurizing chamber 3 through a fuel intake pipe 10 and inlet check valve 11 is pressurized and vapor included in the fuel inside the pressurizing chamber 3 is discharged to a fuel return pipeline 14 through a spill valve 12 and return passage 13. Excitation of the electromagnetic coil 4 is stopped, and then the electromagnetic coil 4 is re-excited prior to the armature 9 and plunger 7 reaching the standby position due to the return spring 8, such that the return speed of the armature 9 is reduced and an impact when the armature 9 contacts a stopper 15 is mitigated.

A modular power group reduces the cost of assembly and includes a plastic encapsulated coil that is protected from environmental moisture and corrosion. A valve seat incorporates a valve seal which improves fuel flow past the valve member when the fuel injection valve is in the open position.
