    摘要: A fuel injection valve for a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine, in particular for injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. The fuel injection valve has a magnet coil, an armature that can be pulled by the magnet coil in a direction of lift against a first return spring, and a valve needle. The valve needle has a first stop surface for the armature, which can be moved relative to the valve needle. The armature is acted upon by a second return spring. In addition, a stationary second stop surface for the armature is provided. The second return spring acts upon the armature in a direction opposite to the lift and in an inoperative position, when the magnet coil is not energized, and holds the armature in contact with the second stop surface so that a distance between the armature and the first stop surface provided on the valve needle is predefined.

    摘要: A method is described for operating a fuel injector for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, particularly for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector has a magnetic coil, an armature acted upon in a closing direction by a resetting spring, and a valve needle, frictionally connected to the armature, for actuating a valve-closure member which, together with a valve-seat surface, forms a sealing seat. The method includes exciting the magnetic coil with a basic current intensity during an opening phase of the fuel injector, shortly before the end of the opening phase, exciting the magnetic coil with a current pulse that is increased compared to the basic current intensity, and, at the end of the opening phase, switching off the current exciting the magnetic coil.

    摘要: A fuel injection valve includes, in part, a pipe, a fixed connector (fixed core), a movable core, a solenoid coil and a needle valve. In the fuel injection valve, a diameter of a fixed action surface of the fixed connector is made smaller than a movable action surface of the movable core. Therefore, magnetic flux around an outer circumferential portion is transmitted from the fixed action surface to the movable action surface substantially in a direction perpendicular to the movable action surface. Thus, an electromagnetic force acting therebetween is efficiently transformed to an attracting force for the movable core.

The tubular connection piece has two elongated slots, which do not extend over the entire length of the connection piece, but at least over 75% of its length. Thus there are two spring-elastic half-shells in the slotted area. The valve closing body is attached at the unslotted end of the connection piece. The valve is particularly well suited for use in fuel injection systems of compressed-mixture, externally ignited internal combustion engines.
