摘要: To start a vehicle, power is provided from the vehicle's electrical source to electrical load(s) in the vehicle. Heavy electrical load(s) can sag the vehicle's electrical system and make starting the vehicle difficult. The following embodiments can address this problem by providing an intelligent power distribution system that uses controllable switch(es) to selectively connect load(s) to the vehicle's electrical source in a controlled, progressive manner. Connecting load(s) in a controlled fashion can facilitate the starting of the vehicle by avoiding having electrical load(s) present at start-up.

摘要: The control device is a control device applied to the vehicle. The control device is capable of performing a starting process to start the internal combustion engine by driving either the motor generator or the starter upon receipt of a starting request. The control device starts the internal combustion engine by driving the starter when, in the starting process, the starting request is based on remote operation from the communication device outside the vehicle. On the other hand, in the starting process, the control device starts the internal combustion engine by driving the motor generator if it receives a starting request while there is an occupant in the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle includes a first power system, a second power system, a switching relay, and a relay controller. The first power system is coupled to an engine restart motor. The second power system is provided independently of the first power system and is coupled to a starter and an accessory. The coupling state of the switching relay is switchable to an on state in which the first power system and the second power system are coupled, and to an off state in which the first power system and the second power system are not coupled. The relay controller is configured to receive a supply of electric power from both the first power system and the second power system and to control the coupling state of the switching relay.

摘要: A starting module for a vehicle is provided. The starting module is configured to reside on-board the vehicle, and is used to start an engine associated with the vehicle in the event the battery on the vehicle is too weak to crank the engine. The engine starting module first comprises a housing. The housing resides proximate the vehicle battery and holds a plurality of super capacitors. The super capacitors reside within the housing, in series, and are electrically in parallel with the vehicle battery. The super capacitors store charge received from the electrical system of the vehicle. The starting module also includes control logic. The control logic controls the release of energy from the super capacitors. The engine starting module also comprises an isolation switch, which is configured to move between open and close positions in response to signals from the control logic.

The control device includes a startup control unit that performs starter startup control of starting discharge of the hydraulic oil by the electric oil pump device after determining that output voltage of the power supply device or input voltage of the electric oil pump device is higher than or equal to a fixed voltage after completion of cranking by the starter motor upon startup of the engine using the starter motor.

摘要: A torque transfer device is provided, for a powertrain of a motor vehicle, comprising an electric motor having a stator and a rotor rotatable relative thereto. A control system is provided which can output a current pulse to the electric motor, wherein the current pulse effects a rotary motion of the rotor in a first direction of rotation and through a first angle of rotation and thus effects an induced voltage, which is received by the control system to determine the direction of rotation or the rotary position of the rotor in relation to the stator. The rotor is connected to a torsional vibration damper comprising a damper input and a damper output; rotatable in a limited manner in relation to the damper input, against the effect of energy storage elements, and the rotary motion of the rotor causes a relative rotation between the damper input and the damper output.

摘要: A vehicular apparatus receiving power from a battery mounted on a vehicle includes a main controller unit, a defect detection unit, and an operation controller unit. The operation controller unit is configured to turn off an operation of a target device among a plurality of devices controlled by the main controller unit in response to an occurrence of a voltage drop in which the voltage from the battery is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold value. In response to turning off the operation of the target device due to the voltage drop, the operation controller unit is configured to transmit a notification indicating turning off of the operation of the target device to the defect detection unit. Upon receiving the notification, the defect detection unit is configured to cancel a determination of a defect relative to the target device.
