摘要: A system and method for a for a wave energy converter device that is an axisymmetric point absorber which operates in a tension only condition over a large stroke that can operate in the given wave environment so as to eliminate the need for end stops in normal operation whereby the wave energy converter device has a floating hull with an interior Power Take Off (PTO) that uses an impedance control scheme for impedance matching with the wave environment in which it is deployed so as to maximize electrical power output as compared with a passively operating device of similar size.

摘要: A wave powered hydraulic piston generator assembly for powering a generator by a hydraulic turbine and piston assembly includes a container being positioned adjacent to the shoreline of a body of water. The container has an opening having an interior surface where a piston is positioned against. A rod protrudes out from a back surface of the piston wherein an end of the rod has a first seal being moving within a cylinder. The cylinder has an inlet positioned proximate to the first end of the cylinder, whereas an outlet is positioned on a second end of the cylinder. A first conduit of a tank is connected with the outlet of the cylinder. A turbine is connected with a second conduit of the tank. The turbine has a drive shaft in mechanical communication with a generator. Furthermore, the turbine is in fluid communication with the inlet of the cylinder.

摘要: A wave-driven power generation device of converting gravity work is illustrated, which has two power generation modules, a pulley module and two transmission mechanism structures. The pulley module has a rail and a counterweight part, wherein the counterweight part moves back and forth along the rail in a first direction or a second direction due to wave fluctuation, and the first direction and the second direction are two opposite directions. The transmission mechanism structure has a driving part and a gear module rotating with the driving part, wherein the driving part moves along the first direction or the second direction accompanying with movement of the counterweight part, the gear module rotates with the shaft of the rotator set, and the shaft of the rotator set is kept to rotate in respect to a rotating direction to continue to generate the electrical energy due to transmission of the gear module.

摘要: A system and method for harnessing the kinetic energy of the ocean to generate electricity. The system includes a dock made from a buoyant material. The dock has floats at its corners that can receive fixed pillars, such that the floats can move up and down relative to the pillars. Either of the float and the respective pillar has one or more permanent magnets while the other has the conductive coil. The movement of the dock and thus the floats relative to the fixed upstanding pillars results in the generation of electricity.

摘要: An energy farm having an electrical grid through which power generated by the devices in the farm may be combined and transmitted. The electrical grid is formed through the electrical interconnection of devices in a farm through electrical connections that remain, in whole or at least in part, adjacent to the surface of the body of water on which the devices float. A plurality of flexible converters of the network have no direct or immediate electrical interface with a subsea power cable (i.e. a cable on or under the seafloor), but instead transmit electricity to other converters in a daisy-chained fashion.

摘要: The present invention relates to a wave energy converter, comprising: -a float; -an elongate spacer configured to connect the float to an anchoring at, on or to a floor of a water body; -wherein the float is configured to rotate as it moves along the elongate spacer due to waves and/or tidal movement of the water body; -wherein said float comprises an air chamber for: -a shaft that is rotatably suspended inside the float and having a holder configured to substantially arrest the shaft against rotation as the float rotates around the shaft; and -a generator that is arranged between the float and the shaft and that is configured to generate electrical power when the float rotates relative to the shaft; and -wherein the shaft is completely arranged inside the float and the air chamber shields the shaft and the generator off from the water body. The invention further relates to a method of generating electrical power from wave energy.
