Abstract: Provided is a tube pump including: a housing unit that has an inner peripheral surface, which is formed in an arc shape around an axis, along which a tube with flexibility is disposed, and that is opened toward one end side along the axis; a pair of roller units that are accommodated in the housing unit and rotate about the axis in a state in which the tube is blocked; a pair of drive units that cause each of the pair of roller units to rotate about the axis in the same direction; and a cover member that is disposed in the housing unit such that the cover member covers the pair of roller units and provides an annular opening region into which the tube is able to be inserted toward the inner peripheral surface.

Abstract: A control device of a piston pump unit comprising at least two piston-cylinder units that operate in a phase-shifted manner for the purpose of liquid chromatography and to a piston pump unit is described. The control device corrects fluctuations of the system pressure while switching from one piston cylinder unit to the respective other piston cylinder unit. The fluctuations can occur as a result of the cooling of the liquid medium that is heated in an adiabatic manner during a pre-compression phase in the working piston. The control unit controls the piston speed of at least one piston-cylinder unit during the transition phase depending on at least one characteristic, which is ascertained from chronologically previously detected pressure values, such that variations of the system pressure as a result of the cooling of the adiabatically heated medium are at least partially compensated for.

Abstract: The anti-cavitation device comprises a housing and valve assembly. A fluid end comprises one or more intake chambers, one or more exhaust chambers, a compression chamber, a plunger chamber, and one or more intake manifolds. The intake manifolds are fluidly connected to the intake chambers such that the intake manifolds are adapted to deliver the hydraulic fracturing fluid to the intake chambers. The intake chambers comprise intake valve assemblies adapted to regulate flow from the intake chambers to the compression chamber. One of the intake chambers comprises an anti-cavitation chamber positioned across from and co-planar with the plunger chamber. The anti-cavitation device is positioned within the anti-cavitation chamber. A method of reducing cavitation is provided, the method comprises the step of inserting the anti-cavitation device into the access opening of the fluid end. The anti-cavitation device may be used in existing, previously used, or new fluid ends.

The first diaphragm is moveable between an open position spaced away from the valve seat, and a closed position sealed against the valve seat.

Abstract: A fluid working system such as a pump for displacing a working fluid such as hydraulic fluid or a motor using a working fluid is provided. The system may have a positive displacement machine which includes one or more working chamber with displacement means such as a cylinder with a reciprocating piston. There are also two or more fluid ports to allow the working fluid to flow into and out of the working chamber. The working fluid flows from one fluid port means to another either being forced to do so when pumped or moving the piston when functioning as an engine. The fluid working system has associated therewith a non-dead compliance volume of a material such as syntactic foam. This compliance volume acts to smooth any pressure fluctuations within the working fluid system.
