摘要: A system and method for operating a fleet of pumps for a turbine driven fracturing pump system used in hydraulic fracturing is disclosed. A method of operating a fleet of pumps associated with a hydraulic fracturing system includes receiving a demand Hydraulic Horse Power (HHP) signal. The demand HHP signal may include the Horse Power (HP) required for the hydraulic fracturing system to operate and may include consideration for frictional and other losses. The method further includes operating all available pump units at a percentage of rating below Maximum Continuous Power (MCP) level, based on the demand HHP signal. Furthermore, the method may include receiving a signal for loss of power from one or more pump units. The method further includes operating one or more units at MCP level and operating one or more units at Maximum Intermittent Power (MIP) level to meet the demand HHP signal.

摘要: This disclosure includes subsea pumping apparatuses and related methods. Some apparatuses include one or more subsea pumps, each having an inlet and an outlet, and one or more motors, each configured to actuate at least one pump to communicate a hydraulic fluid from the inlet to the outlet, where the subsea pumping apparatus is configured to be in fluid communication with a hydraulically actuated device of a blowout preventer. Some subsea pumping apparatuses include one or more of: a desalination system configured to produce at least a portion of the hydraulic fluid; one or more valves, each configured to selectively route hydraulic fluid from an outlet of a pump to, for example, a subsea environment, a reservoir, and/or the inlet of the pump; and a reservoir configured to store at least a portion of the hydraulic fluid. Some apparatuses are configured to be directly coupled to the hydraulically actuated device.

The managing application can establish an electronic communication link to receive sensor data from a plurality of fracturing units. The managing application can control the plurality of fracturing units with a stage script with multiple sequential instructions for a pumping stage of a pumping sequence while receiving one or more periodic data sets from the plurality of fracturing units wherein the data sets are indicative of the current state of the pumping stage of the pumping sequence.

A respective one-way flow path links each adjacent two of the sub-systems. A one-way outlet from a last of the sub-systems is provided. The system is capable of a mode of operation in which at least some of the sub-systems are substantially in phase with respect to each other to cause the system to draw fluid from more than one of the one-way inlets; and another other mode of operation in which at least some of the sub-systems are substantially in antiphase with respect to each other to increment a pressure of the fluid as the fluid moves along the sequence.

摘要: Embodiments of systems and methods disclosed provide a hydraulic fracturing unit that includes a reciprocating plunger pump configured to pump a fracturing fluid and a powertrain configured to power the reciprocating plunger pump. The powertrain includes a prime mover and a drivetrain, the prime mover including a gas turbine engine. The hydraulic fracturing unit also includes auxiliary equipment configured to support operation of the hydraulic fracturing unit including the reciprocating plunger pump and the powertrain. A power system is configured to power the auxiliary equipment. The power system includes a power source and a power network. The power source is configured to generate power for the auxiliary equipment. The power network is coupled to the power source and the auxiliary equipment, and configured to deliver the power generated by the power source to the auxiliary equipment. Associated systems including a plurality of hydraulic fracturing units are also provided.

摘要: Provided is a pump system that includes a primary pump and a secondary pump. The primary pump pumps a primary fluid. A first pump unit of the primary pump includes a first inner liner defining a first primary fluid chamber and also includes a first outer liner disposed around the first inner liner. The interior of the first outer liner defines a secondary fluid chamber. The secondary pump pumps a secondary fluid and is in fluid communication with the first secondary fluid chamber to operably pump the secondary fluid into and out of the first secondary fluid chamber, resulting in the compression and expansion of the first inner liner. A first valve is disposed proximate the primary fluid chamber inlet, and a second valve disposed proximate the primary fluid chamber outlet. The first and second valves allow fluid flow in one direction through the primary fluid chamber.
