    摘要: An air discharging apparatus to discharge pressurized air at a predetermined timing is disclosed. The disclosed air discharging apparatus includes an air pump including a cylinder and a piston configured to reciprocate in the cylinder; an opening and closing member provided at an air discharge opening of the air pump and configured to open and close the air discharge opening; and a switching mechanism providing mechanical coupling between the piston and the opening and closing member. The mechanical coupling keeps the opening and closing member in a closed state until the piston reaches a predetermined position in a compression stroke and switches the opening and closing member to an opened state when the piston reaches the predetermined position.

    摘要: A pump for providing a pressurized fluid flow. The pump includes a pump casing that defines a pump chamber. A pump shaft is has a head end in the pump chamber; the head end has a circumferential outer surface. The pump shaft head end has inwardly extending piston chambers. A discharge manifold is formed in the pump shaft head end. The discharge manifold has one end in fluid communication with the piston chambers and a second end in fluid communication with a discharge conduit that extends outside of the pump casing. A piston is mounted in each piston chamber. The pistons are formed with flow-through bores that provide fluid communication between the pump chamber and the piston chambers. A suction valve associated with each piston regulates fluid flow from the pump chamber through the flow-through bore into the associated piston chamber. Discharge valves regulate fluid flow from each piston chamber into the discharge manifold. The head end of the pump shaft is axially offset from the center axis of the pump chamber. As the pump shaft is rotated, the pistons engage in reciprocal motion in their piston chambers. Fluid is introduced into the pump chamber. When each piston is in its extended position, the suction valve allows fluid flow into the piston chamber. When each piston is retracted, it forces the fluid in the associated piston chamber through the discharge valve, through the discharge manifold and out the discharge conduit.

    摘要: A Positive Fluid Displacement Device (PFDD) with a removable Fluid Displacement Module (FDM) having two opposing pistons connected to a drive block. The drive block slides over a crankpin bearing in assembly to provide orbital piston motion. Opposing cylinders are held within a carriage for reciprocating motion. An opening in the reciprocating cylinder head allows fluid communication to the displacement chamber through inlet and outlet ports in a floating port plate. The flat surfaces of the port plate and cylinder head wipe across each other during cylinder head movement. The piston head carries a protrusion sized to fill the cylinder head opening. Micro-adjustment mechanisms for the position of the cylinder head together with compliant piston and compliant cylinder mechanisms can provide near zero dead volume. Different sized opposing cylinders enable the delivery of pumped fluids in precise ratios. By connecting the outlet of each cylinder to the inlet of the opposing cylinder, the differential displacement of the two cylinders can be pumped, enabling the delivery of very small quantities of fluid. High vacuum may be delivered by series connection of cylinders. The device may incorporate a dual lip piston seal which is wear compensated over the life of the seal. The PFDD is leakage free and can be driven by stepper motors to deliver a precise fluid amount at low speed even to an exact portion of a piston stroke. A sensor is provided for sensing cylinder head position.
