摘要: A wearable infusion pump assembly includes a reservoir for receiving an infusible fluid, and an external infusion set configured to deliver the infusible fluid to a user. A fluid delivery system is configured to deliver the infusible fluid from the reservoir to the external infusion set. The fluid delivery system includes a volume sensor assembly, and a pump assembly for extracting a quantity of infusible fluid from the reservoir and providing the quantity of infusible fluid to the volume sensor assembly. The volume sensor assembly is configured to determine the volume of at least a portion of the quantity of fluid. The fluid delivery system further includes at least one optical sensor assembly configured to sense the movement of the pump assembly, a first valve assembly configured to selectively isolate the pump assembly from the reservoir, and a second valve assembly configured to selectively isolate the volume sensor assembly from the external infusion set.

摘要: A liquefied gas unloading and deep evacuation system may more quickly, more efficiently and more completely unload liquefied gases from transport tanks, such as rail cars, into stationary storage tanks or into truck tanks. The system may utilize a two stage compressor, an electric motor, a variable frequency drive, a four way valve, a three way valve, a two way valve, a programmable logic controller based control system and pressure and temperature transmitters. The valving enables deep evacuation of the transport or supply tank to more completely empty the transport tank. The programmable logic controller and variable speed drive may be used to variably control the speed of the two stage compressor so that the system may be running as fast as possible during changes in ambient temperature and/or different stages of offloading the liquefied gases without exceeding the compressor's horsepower limit.

摘要: A system includes a variable displacement pump (VDP) with a pump inlet and a pump outlet. The VDP is configured to receive a flow at the pump inlet at a first pressure and to outlet a flow from the pump outlet at a second pressure elevated relative to the first pressure. A second pump is in fluid communication to receive flow at the pump inlet at the first pressure and to outlet flow from an auxiliary outlet. A backup selector is in fluid communication with the pump outlet and with the auxiliary outlet. The backup selector is configured to operate in a normal mode to supply the pump outlet from the VDP and to supply the auxiliary outlet from the second pump. The backup selector is configured to switch to a backup mode to supply the pump outlet from the second pump upon failure of the VDP.

The current practice within the natural gas pipeline industry is to vent or flare fugitive emissions and blowdown gas to atmosphere.

摘要: Hydraulic axial piston unit having a rotational group for driving or being driven by a driving shaft, and a tiltable displacement element for adjusting the displacement volume of the rotational group. The rotational group includes a rotatable cylinder block in which working pistons are mounted reciprocally moveable in cylinder bores for conveying hydraulic fluid from an inlet port to an outlet port on a valve segment. At least two control ports are located on the valve segment each between the inlet port and the outlet port. The control ports can be brought sequentially in fluid connection with the cylinder bores when the cylinder block is rotating. At least one hydraulic fluid injector is connected fluidly to one control port, for sequentially injecting pressurized hydraulic fluid via the control port into the passing cylinder bores. Via the other control port hydraulic fluid can be drained from passing cylinder bores.

摘要: A peristaltic pump includes a plunger-cam follower, a tube receiver, a spring-biased plunger, a spring, a position sensor, and a processor. The plunger-cam follower engages the plunger cam to follow the plunger cam and to disengage from the plunger cam. The spring-biased plunger is coupled to the plunger-cam follower and the spring biases the spring-biased plunger toward the tube receiver. The position sensor determines a position of the spring-biased plunger when the plunger-cam follower is disengaged from the plunger came. The processor estimates fluid flow utilizing at least the position of the spring-biased plunger as indicated by the position sensor when the plunger-cam follower is disengaged from the plunger cam and the spring biases the spring-biased plunger against the tube.
